What's new

Multirole combat aircrafts, medium range SAM and UAV systems to be procured this fiscal year

But they had better option to buy Mirage-2000 and Rafales; still they took the wiser path of indigenous ness, which helped PAF entering into Aircraft manufacturing. Today's Block 3 of JF-17 is comparable with Grippen NG and f-16 Block 60s. Kudos to Mushaf Ali Mir that envisioned and tirelessly worked for that to happen.

And yes, BGI was a great deal for BAF but those weren't comparable to JF-17s.

Before becoming sarcastic again, earn some intellectual capital, understand? The following links would help U to do it, BTW...

Conoco Philips came out dry in the most lucrative block and left.

There will not be any FC-1 or JF-17. It is most like J-10 from China if they go with China option. They may look into Russian Flanker option too. MM will not be bully even if we induct 8 SU-30 in the airforce, enough to make their entire Mig-29 fleet grounded.
This is your right choice in the near future , no need to buy 4th gen fighter any more.

Recently combat Excercise in China DingXin, J20 scores overwhelm 10:0, overrun Su30MKK. The age of 4th gen had ended, we should aim high. Said FC31 will cost around 70to80 millions per, with low life cycle cost. AESA radar/ domestic engine, HMS, 8tons payload, six hanger points in weapon bay, refueling capable, 1250KM combat radius, super cruise capable.

I'm very much emphasize the BD market, I think you are quite potential in the long run! My personal passionate is going with BD people as well.

They didn't make any such world class aircraft. Even the aircraft's own designer admits that it cannot compete and has a limited export market.

.......

This is the opinion of Dan Rosenthal, a US aviation expert and thinktank

Well.....you can't expect Mr. Rosenthal and Ms. Albright (her current boss) to be overly enthusiastic about Pakistan (or its 'products'). Both of them are avowed Neocons and are against anything China or its proxy, Pakistan does..... :-)
