Modi and his crazy sanghis revoke democracy for Kashmir (Article 370 of Indian Occupied Kashmir)

I am surprised to see how some Indians think this is some sort of victory of India over Kashmir!! If anything, the revoking of Article 370 and 35A signals the complete failure of Indian gov and specially Indian military forces to control Kashmir the way they tried to do it for 70 years. Internationally, Kashmir remains disputed land as per UN resolutions and no bill in Indian parliament changes that.

The is just a political move that have been made with intention to bring a new wave of unrest and killings in the valley. It have been proved time and time again that the Indian government do not cares about the Kashmirs, to them their blood is cheap and they wont hesitate in making a move that results in killing of thousands of innocent Kashmirs. This political stunt too will only push Kashmir closer to a genocide and may well be the defining chapter of another fascist government.

So much for being "Attoot Aang"!!

Please give reference of single scientist to support your claim. You have no evidence of what you are claiming about. If nukes were so incapable u.s would have invaded russia and china long ago asthey have much superior non nuclear weapons than rest of the world.Nukes are reality ,if they are ineffective india should giveup its nukes
Nuclear bombs didn't stop any war. USA can't invade Russia or cons as these countries have strong defence. Is only has minor edge and that is not very relevant at all. Russia has extemely robust defence Technology and can defeat is if it tries to invade. China has massive industrial base and 4 times the population of US and hence it can crush USA by force.

The most important criteria for winning was is logistics or quantity of arms and ammunition and its supply on battlefield. Is doesn't have the capability to send that many supplies to Russia or China as these countries will block the supply and destroy all channels of supply before they can come close.

India will not give up nukes and neither will any other country because nukes are the largest weapons available. But that Shay doesn't mean was can be won with nukes. Nukes are not useless but just not as powerful as exaggerated.

India will need 1 lakh nukes to destroy significant part of Pakistan but even then pakistani military infrastructure will remain standing. Similarly, pakistan will need several lakh nukes to cause major loss for India but Indian military will keep standing.

War is won by sustained attacks on logistics and cutting supply lines to make the enemy starve to death, not by some rapid attacks or nukes. War will take some time and not simply get over in few days.

nuke attack by u.s on japan has caused much damage and war is ended in short time due to their use, those nukes were of much low yield as compared to nukes which we currently have. There is a reason u.s not attacked nkorea so far although they have small no of nuclear weapons

And this fact alone is being hidden (maybe in denial) to the public who are celebrating like they won some achievement award. ...what they did win is a show of inability to win the region and hence the extremism.

Exactly.

The fact is that after trying for 70 years to oppress the Kashmirs, the military solution have failed. The change in special status is mainly to allow Hindu population to move in to Kashmir and put pressure on the Muslim population there and start similar kind of lynchings and oppression via extremist groups as we have seen in other parts on India.

This is how the world sees it:
India’s step is dangerous and wrong: New York Times

India Is Creating Its Own West Bank in Kashmir: Bloomberg

This will only result in situation in the valley deteriorating further while changes nothing at international level. Only think that MAY change at international level if Pakistan plays its cards we can actually expose the Indian atrocities and gain more support. The killings in Gujarat or Delhi may not get the spot light but Kashmir is much more likely to be in focus and likely to draw attention. This is nothing more than the political version of that mighty "Balakot Strike" and have potential to turn into a situation best explained in ourlanguage as, khaya pea kuch nahi, glass tora - Bara aanay!!

The sad thing is some actually think that if we were to go to war we would tell them...hello we coming!

Exactly ...coz Kashmir is disputed territory can't really change that and can't change its status without counting Pakistan

I don't think majority of Indians even understand that this might be illegal and might be struck down by the Supreme Court. Today they converted JK to a Union Territory without assent from the State Legislature. This sets a precedent that could be replicated in West Bengal where they hate Mamta. Or in the southern states where they have negligible presence. Or pretty much any state. It is my legal view that they can certainly bifurcate the state and make Ladakh a new state but the Union Govt can't unilaterally change a State to a UT without such a bill being passed in the State Assembly itself. But it really boils down to the bench of the court and what it does.

In this case, it is Pakistan that has set the legal precedent by ceding part of the former kingdom of J&K to China with the caveat that China will abide by any future agreement on the status of JK. The only legal argument is the missing assent of the people through their elected representatives in the State Assembly.

It wont do nothing in my opinion. The people of India have been made to believe that somehow this is some sort of massive massive victory for them. They do not understand the implications nor they want to. The government wont risk losing these brownie points now. The courts wont want to be the villain either. Just wait and see.

Actually the SC cares two whits about the Govt. They sent Indira to jail when she was at the height of her power. The Govt has scored brownie points and even if SC strikes down this change, the Govt will still claim they tried. My concern remains the actual people of JK and the valley. Was Article 370 unfair to a lot of people in Kashmir? Yes. But is this the way to remove it? Certainly not. Trump may have forced this with his daft mediation offer repeatedly.

Can't blame trump when you have modi

Why USA didn't attack North Korea in 2000 when it didn't have nukes?

Also, Japan was bombed on 6th and 9th of August. Japan surrendered on 2nd September, which is 25 days after last nuke dropped. Tell me, what kind of short time is this? Japan surrendered because USSR won Germany conquest and turned towards Japan by dispatching its navy. Japan realised that it can't fight both USA and USSR. Japan was coaxed by USA to surrender citing better terms. Japan saw how cruel USSR was in Germany and hence took the offer of USA. Nukes didn't make Japan surrender

Tell the implications

At that time u.s has no threat from nkorea but in previous year nkorea threatened to nuke u.s which was a direct threat but u.s did nothing. You will find the power of these weapons on the day they drop in india
