Okay guys. My wife/mum have gone to Pakistan to visit relatives in particular my centurion grandmother. Anyway this means I am wearing the 'skirt' so to speak. Proof that I have come a long way from my youth when I was a brat, misogynist to boot. Over the succeeding 40 years I am a mature [or iI should like to think so] and think women are the better half of the human experiance. Well I had few daughters so that chastened me.

So I would like this thread to be about cooking. Yes cooking recipes. I am a rather good cook so I would like to share my recipe for Chicken Karahi with you guys that I made today.

Ingedients.

1.5 kg Boneless Chicken
1 tbs Cumin Seeds
2 tbs spice mix - mine is already prepared by wife. No idea what goes into it.
Half block of butter/ Olive oil to taste.
3 large salad chillies
1 bell pepper red.
half clove of garlic
2 chopped onions - large.
Kasuri Methi
plum tomatoes - canned.

Oh and grab yourself a apron and a stool if your old. Place the stool next to the cooker so you can chill 'an cook. Play some music to relax while your at it. So ready, steady go ...

Masterchef with apron aka your 'Kaptaan'.

If old. Place stool strategically. Not too close that you end up with clothes on fire but close enough so that you can see what's cookin. If young stand and dance while cookin.

Hi,

Love that moustache-----.
Don't tell anybody but my hair has gone all grey/white. So I have done what middle aged men do. Dyed it. But then my 'tache started greying and turning white. So I dyed that. But then I got tired of dying it every third day as new growth exposed the grey. So now I have bowd to the inevitable.
