Bloody house of Saud and their misdeeds are becoming unbearable now. Time for uprising in that country.

time for some type pf uprising in KSA too, they have watched and laughed far too long on Syria and Egypt

You are flying off the tangent!
Talking against Babri Mosque vs Such magnitude of issue involving your Prophet who is against the odds?

Exactly... Being a Hindu, I have no particular affinity towards this site. But Historical monuments like these should be preserved imo.

BTW my native village has a curious mix of Shias and Sunnis. Am sure not a single one of them will be pleased by this development. But then they are probably not Muslim enough as have never seen any altercation among them during Muharram. :)

The altercations in Muharram depend on extremists from both sides. This also involves figures who left their earthly form some 1400 years ago and are really not around to confirm any version of the events that suggest that they had such stark disputes....which somehow(on the off chance that they did) have relevance today.

maybe ISIS and Sauds have the same ideology.. they destroyed many holy places because of "shirk"..

holy places should stay on international muslim property.. not saud property.. it should seperated by sauds as an own country..

with own airbase, international troops , own currency.. that would be the best..

Dream on. This is Hijazi land. Always was and always will be.

Land of Hijaz it may be... but Hijaz is not the one ruling it is it?

Arabian. Call it what you want. It's our land and we do what we please. If people are crying they can stop visiting.

Wahabis think maintaining sites of historical and cultural importance is bi'dah. Wahabis also think women driving cars is Haram, Wahabis think going on Mars is haram. Wahabis are mad, anyone who defends them is even worse.

The big question is how can a 19th century freak born so long after the prophet tell us what true Islam is. Wahabis are a cancer for society and they mislead the Muslims of the world.

I think the bigger problem is that someone believes it justified to enforce their individual views on the society as a whole. Especially a society such as Saudi Arabia, which is still not majority wahabi btw. I think Muslims need to come out of this mentality that only they are on the right path and everyone else must conform or be condemned as an innovator or worse kafir.

@al-Hasani @Arabian Legend Brothers, please tell us what is going on? Thanks!

Pure nonsense written by a radical Shia clown. People like him try to bark 1-2 times a year to no avail.

This thread explains everything before it got destroyed due to the stupid new rule regarding photos.

"Makkah and Madinah News and Updates"

KSA already denied this report and so did many Muslim organizations. Not sure why the moderators allow this thread to be open given the fact that this nonsense news was discussed 2-3 months back already.

Worry about your own country.

Lastly nothing of historical importance or even religious importance has been destroyed. Unless somebody considers shrines built 200-300 years ago as "sacred".

The expansion is necessary in both Makkah and Madinah and hajj and umrah are 1000 times more important than some sand castle or a few elaborate shrines/mausoleums built 200-300 years ago. Besides those were removed decades ago which was very good as people were worshipping/praying to those shrines and making non-Islamic rituals.

In 20 years time there will be 15-20 million pilgrims each hajj. Modern infrastructure is absolutely crucial and Makkah and Madinah have always been dynamic and changing cities. End of discussion.

Thank you for that clarification.
