From my prediction, India wont push those large number of people to BD. Only some recent illegal migrants with real proofs. Token numbers like 20-30 etc. Other people they cant prove as BD citizens, their normal citizen rights will be revoked.

Bangla nationalists are happy too. Only some fifth columnist enemies are not happy, and they are less than half percent in Bangladesh.

At the governmental level I dunno.

I doubt it.

But this is a security concern for all Muslims of South Asia.

The first step is probably public awareness and acknowledgement.

Good! Protests are a healthy way of taking out your frustrations. Just don't do anything stupid after this...like taking up arms or something.

I have a few Bangladeshi acquaintances, I avoid discussing politics with them as I sense some resentment towards Pakistan's actions in the past. Otherwise, nice folks and very welcoming.

One thing is clear, they don't like Indians !

Keeping the non existent Muslim sentiments aside, just purely for BD own security, I would take this development very seriously. There are states within Indian union who are raising their voices against this action.

BD armed forces are too small for the size of its population. About time this needs to be revisited keeping in mind the worst case scenario.

Clever nations plan for capabilities in their region not intentions. But here you got really menacing intentions on display as well.

I am afraid the kind of people who are ruling BD, if you try to explain to them from Muslim angel, they will ignore or even mock you. But from purely nationalistic sense, they might listen. Just my honest observation.
