Edit: i am totally againt naming any place after any politicians, but this certainly is not going to be the first one we have other examples such as GIKI and SZABIST, two wrongs don't make a right ... wish it was named something else

We don't care which political party built educational units....
As compare to Private farm houses and Luxury Houses, Universities are Million times welcome....

I don't now what people think Universities are/should be? Universities are NOT like schools, they required educated, trained academic staff to teach, facilities and much more. Unlike schools, universities are not finished when the building is!
Build a couple of Unis in Karachi, add a couple more in Multan, and maybe one in Lahore and Islamabad to get the cash rolling in. That is not good for any party involved, and most certainly not the country.

متحدہ قومی موومنٹ کے قائدجناب الطاف حسین نے کہاہے کہ حیدرآبادیونیورسٹی کسی ایک طبقہ کیلئے نہیں بلکہ سب کیلئے ہوگی اورا س میں داخلے سفارش پرنہیں بلکہ میرٹ پرہوں گے۔ انہوں نے یہ بات آج حیدرآبادمیں زونل کمیٹی کے ارکان اورنائن زیرو پر اراکین رابطہ کمیٹی اورشعبہ جات میں تنظیمی فرائض انجام دینے والے ذمہ داروں اورارکان سے گفتگوکرتے ہوئے کہی۔ جناب الطاف حسین نے حیدرآبادیونیورسٹی کیلئے 50ایکڑزمین کی منظوری پر حیدرآباد کے تمام طلبہ وطالبات، ماؤں،بہنوں بزرگوں ، تمام کارکنوں ، ذمہ داروں،منتخب نمائندوں اورشہرکے تمام عوام کوخصوصی مبارکبادپیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ حیدرآباد میں یونیورسٹی کے قیام کی عوام کی برسو ں کی آرزو انشاء اللہ جلدپوری ہونے کوہے، آج یونیورسٹی کے لئے زمین کی منظوری ہوگئی ہے، جلد ہی یونیورسٹی کی تعمیر بھی شروع ہوجائے گی۔انہوں نے کہاکہ یونیورسٹی کے خواب کی تکمیل کاآغازسب کی مشترکہ کاوشوں کاثمرہے۔نائن زیروپر گفتگوکرتے ہوئے جناب الطاف حسین نے یونیورسٹی کیلئے زمین کی منظوری کی مبارکبادپیش کی اوردعاکی کہ اللہ تعالیٰ یونیورسٹی کے قیام کی راہ میں آنے والی تمام رکاوٹوں کودورفرمائے اوراس کوجلدسے جلدتکمیل کے مرحلے میں پہنچائے۔انہوں نے کہاکہ ہم چاہتے ہیں کہ پاکستان کی قوم کوعلم کی روشنی سے اس طرح منورکردیاجائے کہ یہ اس خطے کی بہترین یونیورسٹی کادرجہ حاصل کرے ۔انہوں نے گزشتہ روز حیدرآبادمیں فائرنگ کے واقعہ میں رابطہ کمیٹی کے معاون رکن غازی صلاح الدین کے بھائی ضیاء الدین کے جاں بحق ہونے پر غازی صلاح الدین اوررابطہ کمیٹی سے تعزیت کی اوردعاکی کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ضیاء الدین کی مغفرت فرمائے ،لواحقین کوصبرجمیل عطاکرے اورقاتلوں کی گرفت کرے ۔ جناب الطاف حسین نے اپنی والدہ مرحومہ خورشیدبیگم کے درجات کی بلندی کے لئے بھی دعاکی جن کی آج برسی منائی گئی ۔ اس موقع پر تمام اراکین رابطہ کمیٹی اورشعبہ جات کے ارکان نے بھی مرحومہ خورشیدبیگم کیلئے دعائے مغفرت کی ۔
