Made in Iran

I never understood why Iranians don't acknowledge the superior quality of the textiles produced in the country since the beginning of written history...
Do not forget the shoes...lol..iran had one of the best shoe manufacturing 42 years ago..called "kafsh-e-melli"...I wonder if they are still around.

Anything made in the country was renowned for quality. The raw materials were always excellent along with skill and quality of work. brocades, boots, saddles, blank books, steel, weapons & armor, glass, ceramics, carpets, etc.
A few years ago, even that pathetic moshiri described how Iranian products (non tech) were superior to their western counterparts even in the 1960s/70s when it came to clothes, dishes, even doors!

Iranian made ventilators. One knowledge based company can reduce the pressure on health system of a country.

Economy needs these kinds of people and factories.

Hopefully this new administration of Raisi will support these various domestic entities who do great work and need government support and even subsidization until they become better established. Hopefully this admin will be more protectionist and aggressive in promoting self sufficiency and sanction nullification.

Too busy self-hating everything.

The apartment doors I've seen in Tehran are far superior and safe than western quality. By far!

moshiri had talked about this a few years back when his show was a little more tolerable. He mentioned how the doors in Iranian villages were made of very good wood with excellent craftsmanship and far out lasted the crappy metal doors that Iran imported that didn't even last a decade in exposure! Even he acknowledged this was a slow but sure domination and colonization of a country's economy.

They were not the manufacturer . They are the distributor and they are still around.

Iranian Scientists Develop Nanodrop Spectrometer Device

"Nanodrop spectrometer device has various applications in the medical chemistry, physics and biotechnology fields," Mehdi Heidari, the CEO of Nano Mabna Iranian Company, said.

He added that one of the most important applications of the device is the measurement of amino acids, nucleic acids, and genetic fibers that are effective in biological studies and drug production, treatment of diseases and cellular and molecular research.

One of the advantages of this device is its accuracy and it can measure the concentration and purity of nucleic acids and proteins with a volume of one to two microliters with a detection limit of 2ng, Heidari said.

He added that this accuracy is important in studying the structure of viruses, and therefore the device is also used in the diagnosis of coronavirus and can help researchers in the study of biological structures and microparticles.

In a relevant development in October, Iranian researchers at Arak University in collaboration with the researchers of the Malaysian Industrial University (UTM) manufactured a special sensor that is able to diagnose COVID-19 within a few seconds, a member of Arak University scientific board, Mohammad Velasjerdi said.

Velasjerdi said that a joint research between the scholars of Arak University and UTM resulted in diagnosing coronavirus in a few seconds through examination of the patient’s saliva as a relatively safe and sure method to control the epidemic.

“To Diagnose the coronavirus, we have used light fiber sensor with golden and graphene oxide coating. This sensor is able to diagnose the virus in the patient’s saliva via changing the length and intensity of the wave obtained by optic analyzer,” he further said.

He went on to say that, during the research, the saliva of patients aged 34-72 were examined with the sensor, showing significant changes in the length and intensity of the obtained wave in proportion with the number of the viruses in different phases of the disease.

Unfortunately, this is another fake knowledge-based company composed of corrupt people to get the subsidized dollar through their connections in the government sector, but sell the final product to the customers with the calculated prices based on the real (market) value of dollar. The huge profit gained by this corruption is shared among the owners of such fake companies and their connections in the government leading to the current appalling poverty throughout the nation.
The company just imports the parts from China and assembles the CT Scan under its own name. Exactly the same as the car manufacturers in Kerman province. It is not a joke that the selling price of their Chinese CT scan is even more than the European and Japanese market and technology leaders!

I'm interested to hear which other knowledge based companies you have found that do this.

I mean, its common to start with one important subsystem of a complex high-tech product if you start from zero and import the remaining in the first phase.
But sure there is certainly fraud going on, but you seem to know the details.
