The onus is on the COAS to refuse to play any political role. If that continues to happen chief after chief like that and the army completely pulls out of overt and covert political interference then it will all normalize like other countries. The weight of the institutional legacy cannot be simply shrugged off.

When the COAS shows by his actions that he is apolitical then public slack of him will be unwarranted.

But for now, criticism of all political leaders, COAS is OK.

Sir, you keep saying PTI was brought in by GHQ. Is that not reason enough for Article 6 on the party that brought in as well as the party that was brought up?

Khan's move against then DG ISI Asim Munir was more of a question mark on his judgement then the other way round. Now people are SHOCKED to see Munir climbing the ladder further.

Who benefits from undermining competent officers in the system?
