Light weight tanks for Pakistan Army

Well Pakistan don't need light tanks. What Pakistan need is IFVs, ATGM's on fast movers or fast movers in general and Carl Gustav M4s
Pakistan can convert older T-59s into IFV

If Pakistan goes for the Type 15, especially for the Rann of Kutch area with the Marines or in mountain warfare, it definitely needs Hard kill active protection because the armor (no composite just steel) can’t stop APFSDS round with just its ERA, it’s gonna need a hard kill system.

Indian share same terrain, my point if indian placed light weight on LoC if they dont then no concern, secondly these will be hosted on safe places not on open site for enemy to shot them.
Indian have Kashmir valley on their side. Pakistan is up in mountains. If you move KM forward (straight) toward Indian side, mountains become less steeper until you reach Kashmir valley. Idk, if it’s even technically possible but it would be foolish for IA to employ light tanks in mountains, because PA squad level missile man will love the duck shoot.

Looks promising. Does it have an active protection system, also can the armor withstand APFSDS rounds?

Where we would use light weight tanks. India and China share a region where Tanks can easily operate. We don't have that kind of border in Gilgit Baltistan or Azad Kashmir.

Can they counter tanks ?
With ATGM's and keeping themselves out of the sight and punch in the high gear to flank a Tank given in Mountainous and marshy terrains.

OR you can predict tank path plant mine and bug out.
