Kohinoor is ours, won't be returned, British PM David Cameron tells India

Britain should send India a counterfeit diamond, Indians will never know the difference will be good for public sentiment.
India is today the world's largest manufacturing centre for cut and polished diamonds, contributing 60% of the world's supply in terms of value and 85% in terms of volume. Eleven out of every 12 diamonds set in jewellery worldwide are processed in India, according to India's Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).
So I think we know a bit about real and fakes :azn:

So Holand should file a case of international theft against India

Diamonds were being transported from Antwerp to Zurich and were stolen in Brussels. The flight was operated by Helvetic Airways.

It is believed that the Koh-i Noor carries with it a curse which affects men who wear it, but not women. All the men who owned it have either lost their throne or had other misfortunes befall them. Queen Victoria is the first reigning monarch to have worn the gem. Since Victoria's reign, the stone has generally been worn by the British Queen Consort, never by a male ruler.

The notion of a curse pertaining to ownership of the diamond dates back to a Hindu text relating to the first authenticated appearance of the diamond in 1306: "He who owns this diamond will own the world, but will also know all its misfortunes. Only God, or a woman, can wear it with impunity."

was better if they had asked for Ranjit singh's throne to be returned.

we are the undertakers.we will take back what is rightfully ours. Its only a matter of time.

First of all, I think we can all appreciate that it was right and good and proper and self respecting, to seek the return of the kuh e Nur (Mountain of Light)

"I don't think that's the right approach," Cameron told reporters on Wednesday after becoming the first serving British prime minister to voice regret about one of the bloodiest episodes in colonial India, a massacre of unarmed civilians in the city of Amritsar in 1919. "It is the same question with the Elgin Marbles," he said, referring to the classical Greek marble sculptures that Athens has long demanded be given back. "The right answer is for the British Museum and other cultural institutions to do exactly what they do, which is to link up with other institutions around the world to make sure that the things which we have and look after so well are properly shared with people around the world.

You can gaze upon it - we dispossessed you fair and square.

Mr. Cameron's apology at Jalianwalla Bagh and this assertion that the English can do Justice to what belongs to India , suggests that the colonial mindset is difficult to lose.

Kohinoor should be divided between Pakistan, Bangladesh and India :pakistan:

Good idea, except it should be divided between Pakistan and India, diamond can be cut in half.
