You are still living in colonial times as if Britain was a super power and India has just got independence.

Majority of Businesses in UK are in Indian hands, their major brands are owned by Indians, Indians are a respected immigrants in UK.
Just go through the tabloids of UK when Cameron visited India, they gave lot of importance to his visit and wrote lot of columns.
India is seen as an emerging power in world stage and UK wants to benefit from it.

Times are changing and this time it is reverse, once east India company is a dominant force in Indian economy now Indian companies are a driving forces in UK.
