why would you want VLS in 50 million ship0% chance to build any VLS tech in this
Looks quite shallow in depth
you are right, No. 3 as well does not have it. Anti-Air missile in the front is unlikely, Probably the main gun will be a dual purpose gun. Rear ramp might be omitted to place bigger size launchers for relatively larger missiles.
round launchers might be for Babur-2.
Fitting FAC(M)-4 with an anti-ship capable Babur would be very interesting. ISPR said the Babur-2 is capable of hitting targets on land and at sea, so 700-km coverage aboard the FAC(M)-4 and the PN's frigates would be a solid addition.
Speaking to the future, it would be interesting if the PN could upgrade the Azmat-class with an AESA radar, such as the Aselsan Naval Search Radar or Saab Sea Giraffe 1X. It would be like having low-level radars at sea, which Pakistan can network into a wider ISR network.
As per the press release it is mentioned that The Weapon System is indigenous, So C-602 is not indigenous & Babur-2 has dual modes, i.e. Land Attack Mode and Anti-Ship Mode. So Babur-2 fits the description.May be when land attack mission is need to be performed but C-602Gs have more chances of being deployed with range of 280km and land attack capability.
There's the Zarb.As per the press release it is mentioned that The Weapon System is indigenous, So C-602 is not indigenous & Babur-2 has dual modes, i.e. Land Attack Mode and Anti-Ship Mode. So Babur-2 fits the description.
The Zarb AShM is thought to be an "indigenous" variant of c-602.As per the press release it is mentioned that The Weapon System is indigenous, So C-602 is not indigenous & Babur-2 has dual modes, i.e. Land Attack Mode and Anti-Ship Mode. So Babur-2 fits the description.
How would missiles be targeted? Because 700km is clearly way way way beyond the ship's own radar coverage (280km would also be, incendally)Fitting FAC(M)-4 with an anti-ship capable Babur would be very interesting. They could try way-points and overlapping radar coverage areas between different assets. For example, the Azmat FAC can get a call from a ship or aircraft to fire the Babur to a predetermined point in the caller's range, and from there, the caller can direct the AShM.How would missiles be targeted? If mounted in/through the superstructure, Buyan-M style, you'ld have 3 decks worth of depth. A Mk41 self-defence module is 5.3m, the tactical module is 6.8m, and the strike module is 7.7m long. So, the self-defence module would work, possible even the tactical. Then, there is the Mk48/Mk56 (see Danish ships). In the Stanflax module, this penetrates 1 deck deep and sticks out above deck. In other form it is 2 decks deep if mounted flush (e.g KDX-1).0% chance to build any VLS tech in this

The longer the chain, the more links, the more points where things can go wrong....They could try way-points and overlapping radar coverage areas between different assets. For example, the Azmat FAC can get a call from a ship or aircraft to fire the Babur to a predetermined point in the caller's range, and from there, the caller can direct the AShM.
I will add this: it would take a big redesign, just like was done with Russian Buyan to Buyan-M. That in itself makes it less likely to actually occur, even if it is technically possible.0% chance to build any VLS tech in this
