The modern kashmiri pandits have heavly mixed with brahmins from all over india, they are now 50/50 case, it is better for them to live with their bhayya and dravidian brahmin cousins in india. I don't understand what will these brahmins get in kashmir valley which is 99% muslim. Actually those kashmiri hindus (wrongly called pandits) who were actually of kashmiri race never left kashmir , only the bhayya kashmiri mixed hindus left kashmir valley.
