My Grandpa was an Angutha-Chhap Soldier

served in british Army during WW2 and then U.P police for 36 years. . . . i wonder how he managed his Service in Police

He was given a personal deewan to write all the FIRs and other paper works

We are the first generation who finished school in my house. My mom did her 4th std and my dad his 2nd std. Mom still manages to read and write 4 languages while dad can manage 2.

There was one Rajput guy (some small time prince) who was apologizing to me on facebook, saying that his clan let down India and that he is going to do everything to restore India back to its glory.

He took up job as a village officer. had arguments with every religious group in the village. But people still respected him because he refused to take a bribe.

He didn't die rich as a result.
