The Sigma hull is pretty nice, but the armaments that VN is supposedly ordering, is quite underwhelming (and expensive).

I think the Kamorta is still a better option for VN than the Talwar.

Not sure if it's for one or three. Still cheap regardless!

Does $350million includes the weapons and sensors?

I think the Gepards are just training ships lol... with Some armaments incase a conflict breaks out.

I don't know, not much details about the contract.

The Gepards can be upgraded quite a bit, the problem is that Vietnam chose an underpowered weapon system. The second batch is better, but still weak in some areas, but its up to Vietnam to bring them up to a better level if they want.
Lets not forget that they are only 150 million each.

I dont think the navy have any intention to upgrade them anytime soon. Otherwise, they would have just ordered an upgraded package in the first place. Thats why I think the first two were only intended to be training ships lol.

Yes, most likely, it seems like Vietnam was just trying out the Gepards and didn't want to take much risk, so they went cheap.

Well, I think SIGMA is not "assault role" ship, but a tactical-leading, control and command ship with very good data link and stealth feature, big enough to has a hangar room for helicopter and some fuel (for helo).
Of course, Sigma has good SSM weapon, too.

This is 105.14 for Indonesia navy, 98.14 has almost same shape and specificity like this, but less in size and weight.

If requested the Indians can add COGAG DS-71 in Kamotra, it can able to even reach 32 knots easily or single Zorya M36E gas turbine which equipped the Kolkata class.

munich city has the best paid jobs in IT and telecommunications. yes, the cost of living is higher, too. prices of properties are among the highest in the country, but it is a very nice and beautiful city worth to live and work there. I took a job offer in munich after my fresh graduation.

the press reports the german government has some programmes to recruit nurses and doctors from vietnam. germany has high demand for engineers, nurses and doctors. unlike other neighboring countries, german economy is very strong and growing.
