The JF17 BK3 has gone thru a lot after india procured their rafales---.

The J-10 C was a ready product to meet, match and conquer the Rafale---.

The BLK3 JF17 will exceed expectations but will take time---.

JF-17 display at BIAS 2022

Saw the routine of the jf 17...looked lathergic to say the least...more like tis participation was forced on the PAF.
It was followed immediately by a uae block 60 n jo baki kasar the who us nah nikal de......right after wheels up n by the time it reached the end of the run way it pulled up vertical...showing every one how under power jf 17 is....the turns, the climbs etc every thing of the block 60 was crisp to a point.
The best display of a thunder was by sqd Yasir at the full dress rehearsal of 23rd March a few years ago n then at f9 Park at isd ( can't recall the occasion) he put the f 16 to shame on both occasion with demos to remember.
PAF needs to setup a dedicated thunder display team if its serious in garnering sales of thunder in the world....cuz with performances like these no one is buying it

F-16 is larger and equipped with more engine found in any JF-17 variant with thrust to weight ratio exceeding 1.1.

JF-17 cannot outmaneuver it.

The pilot could put more into his show - yes.

Perhaps PAF somewhat rigged the game to convince domestic audience that JF-17 is up to the task when the time comes? It certainly is.

But an international show is a different ballgame with free for all dynamic.

Air Chief was there.

But F-16 Block 60 is a beast - better than anything in the inventory of PAF in the present. Emirati pilots are very skilled as well. WE should to be realistic in our expectations with what WE have in our inventory.

Direct observation is helpful (sure) but sophisticated tools coupled with professional video editing skills are needed to capture flight performance of different aircraft for precise comparison. The evidence is collected from different shows in fact. I have seen these type of videos on YouTube - very useful.
