anyways it is a good video and really nice to have a look at these all together. may be, i say just may be PLAAF is also evaluating the latest model of JFT as they might plan to induct.

flight testing along side the J-10 and J-20 MIGHT indicate that China might induct these along side the more advanced J-10/20.
as i said, its a mere speculation at the moment and we cannot be sure about anything. there have been reports of PLAAF interest in JFT previously as well.

we discuss it many times with them on there forums .jf-17 is trainer and garbage for them they have secret program of mig-1.4 and Cairo-2000 which will be equal to su-35 or f-35 . jft is second gen fighter as per Egyptians .as per them they get mig-1.4 project secretly from russia and now with touch of egyption tech it will be 4.5++++ gen fighter made in egypt .so made in china not fit for there needs .

i dont think so eygpt has any running programme..
there future either lies in russians planes or chinese..

cario 2000 is mere a rumor since a decade with no credible links even if its true it seems to be an upgrade plane of mirage2000

i think the only credible aircraft left to replace mig21 is jf-17..or possibly j-10 or may be a mig29..there are noother alternatives at moment..
if they are stupid they might go for old f-16s

as eygpt has history of purchasing the k-8, i am pretty sure they would go for jf-17 but any one would wait for jf-17 to mature so i dont expect exports before 2015..iit will be remarkable sucess if it happens before that

egyptain administration is silent for now over any negotiations regarding FC-1. May be their internal situation.

Its a mess inside egyptain air force, it is strange why they decided to upgrade mig 21s while isrealis know these Mig-21s inside out since 1970's.

I think egyptians needs to cut down the Mirage V and Mig 21's in favor of JFT later on until next block is out which still would be young.

and yes unfortunately arab countries are going through for last many decades a strange sort of nationalism ...i think we all know about it..

we all know that eygpt doesnt has any avivation industry to take on such a projeect..
regarding jf-17, new goverment will take some time to come and decide..even then as i said i will be surprised if any govt ask for orders before 2015, as its a rountine thing for customers to see the aircraft mature only then they order any further..
Eygpt in past has brought the k-8in vast numbers, this make them a very good potential customer for jf-17...



if we see eygpt due to its finicial constrains(not as much as pakistan, thanks to tourism,oil/gas and suez canal) have following options
1.mig29
2.su 30
3. jf-17
4.j-17
5.old f-16s or possibly mirage2000 from somewhere

let see what it decides..to replace over 200 of its old mig21 and mirage 5 fleet..

Thank you for your post---I knew the answer----but I wanted some of the readers to know that and that should tell the pakistanis how far the americans have gone in assisting pakistan in what they needed.

actually you dont have the full picture..we brought f-16s why back in 80s with expectation of ugrades and every thing..and dint got it...if we knew this would happen we could have easily opt for mirage2000

eygpian brought much of the f-16s with foreign Aid not there own money..also it was stupid decision to buy an f-16 without BVR..they could have easily brought mirages or migs for that money and they should have..

i dont think so how this means america helping us out
