if this is true, and it may be as the italians have transferred ToT for the Grifo series of radar, so any changes wld be done at kamra.

I think it is true that the Italians got involved because the Chinese are marketing a radar they are calling the Falcon S-7 an it does look very much like the Grifo ... ... it looks different from the KLJ-7.

Here: http://www.catic.com.cn/indexPortal/home/index.do?cmd=goToChannel&cid=684&language=US On the left click Products > Airborne Weapon & Equipment > Airborne Radar .

I could be wrong but the fact they have released a bit of detail of the KLJ-7 and but very little on the Falcon S7 could mean the later is a superior radar hence they are more sensitive about publishing its details.

Hi, I think a shorter version of this video has been posted earlier. However, this shows a longer clip of the test firing of the PL-5EII.

Rightnow it's 14:16 in Izmir, Turkey. Pakistan's JFT demonstration starts at 14:37 and ends at 14:50(Turkey's two hours behind us, GMT+3. We're GMT+5). Demo starts in less than 20 mins

I'd implore any wellwishers to hope and please pray that the demo is fantastic, and makes a positive and beneficial impression in front of the crowd. Participants include Arabian countries' AFs, as well as many western AFs, and making a positive impression here would be greatly helpful.

Also alot of pressure, because there are many other top-notch demo teams, including the USAF Thunderbirds. Only with the grace of Allah can we stand out here. It's not a static demo like Farnborrough where people would simply be impressed because the aircraft turned out to be of a higher quality than what they expected from a Pak-China effort.

Three JF-17 Thunders from the Pakistan Air Force participated in Farnborough Air Show and Zhuhai Air Show last year in order to attract customers. Chinese company CATIC has said that are in talks with about eight countries for sale of the JF-17 Thunder.

JF-17 is jointly developed and produced by Pakistan and China. Both countries are offering JF-17 Thunder to the countries which are looking to replace their old fighter jets with inexpensive modern fighter jets.

Alan Warnes has also said that Sherdil aerobatics display team of the Pakistan Air Force Academy has cancel its scheduled visit to the Izmir air show in Turkey. This team uses K-8 "Karakorum" Fighter Jet Trainers which were jointly developed by the Pakistan and China.
