JF-17 Thunder - Information Pool

KAMRA: JF-17 production capacity of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) reaches 25 aircraft per annum. The Pakistan Air Force currently operates 101 JF-17s, with 149 more on order.

??? What’s the source ?? Paf recent show Sep 7 still shows total 4 stations and not 6 ??

I though paf panned 1 sqn 16-18 per year with rest capacity for foreign orders when needed ??

Source is horse at KAMRA. The emphasis is on achieving Capacity to manufacture 25. What you saw in the show was older footage. Such shows are often pre-recorded.

It's not about what you think rather, takes you to use your energy, time & efforts if you want to learn something. People here have done a lot of work, given precious time & also, wrote in detail about what you are asking. So, now you have to go through all threads & read in detail. In-case you can't find, search/read again.

since this aircraft is already overrated .I've heard quite alot of rumours regarding the PAK-CHINA JF17 development .saying stuff like PAKISTAN did not manage to do anything .the design was articulated by a chinese engineer . and all the parts of the THUNDER are imported from china .also saying that SINCE it was supposed to be copy of the F16 .pakistan only contributed in sharing some of its pilot experience . so just.... rumours or the cold truth?

That is very correct; it has been outsourced venture. there is around 58% fabrication but nothing else from R&D is done in Pk.

Let me correct you , all JF17 testing equipment imported from USA. It's 100 percent confirmed.
in other words .no contribution at all

a very detailed thread exists on how the program started, how it evolved, and how it became what it is now
use the search feature to find it somewhere
it is quite a good read
thank you .i'll try to find that

What the question being asked is not about testing equipment but entire end to end of aeronautical design, material testing, wind tunnel design etc.
