It takes longer to take off on Skardu than most other airbases as can be seen in the video. May I know what configuration is it flying with? Can it take off with full weapon load from this runway?

If they can land regional airliners full of people I'm sure a small fighter with a much better thrust to weight ratio even at max loadout config won't break a sweat taking off

I think this is without any weapons as these apparently are test load ... Skardu airbase is mainly for interception and most probably will be using air to air missiles only ...

This is significant as skardu air base is key air defence point and is overseeing both kashmir, GB and CPEC as well ...

It has a natural defense as it is surrounded by big mountains ...

Aaah so it is operating from the same airfield. I thought it was separate.

Yes there is just one air field in skardu ... However commercial aircrafts leave with couple of hours whereas military planes are parkedat a different place ...commercial pessenger cannot view airbase as it is at a distance ... Only runway is shared ..

Old mirages with .68 thrust to weight ratio in clean config and f-7s deal with high altitude then so can jf. Performance may deteriorate with load and due to high altitude but that why you have ~10k runway used by paf along with shorter older runway
