If chief have said yes, next question of Mr. Warnes will be range, no escape zone, flight envelope etc etc, PL-15 is the Ace of spades in Chief's sleeve, if he reveals (confirms) it Bharat will run to counter it, others will be more inclined to sell latest technology to Bharat. If he stays mum, it keeps the balance of power to his side. It is more political.

You really think either Pakistan or india would gain any additional knowledge that they don’t already know from a magazine interview.

As for sensitive parameters of the system, Warnes is wise enough not to ask such a question and if he does, he can be declined.

Well actually i am dismayed at the fact, if a radar has a Max range of say 100km.....how can it guide a missile that has reach of beyond 150km.....aren't you better off sticking with something like SD-10 until you have a radar with extended ranges.

Datalink can allow aircraft closer to share target information to the aircraft further back.

JF-17 is China's opportunity to sell main platform and plethora of auxiliary military hardware which works on it. JF-17 is not a "guarded technology" from China' point of view. It is a great piece of hardware meant to be sold. As long as they are not empowering an enemy, they will be happy to sell it to everyone.

Imagine if USA had produced F-16 and but had not inducted it. This is what JF-17 is to China.

1 air force bases of both countries are very close there is very less need of high range BVR
2 Mindset of PAF and PAC
3 doesn't it seem too big for jft?
