Should match mig-35, Su-35, eurofighter, and dassault Rafale
Not the su-27 and mirage 2000

Its design was not mean to match the heavy weight fighter like su-30 or rafale . its a light weight fighter to replace all mirage and F-7 fighter from PAF inventory and give a decent fighter in affordable price . what should we expect in upcoming Block III is having more range,more loitering time better electronics and of course a AESA Radar etc . multiple weapon rack might be a option too for carrying more A2A missile and ground attack munition

We are expecting a good photo shoot or at least, a glimpse of JF-17 Block-III by end of this year. It was told before so seems like things are being done on schedule & timely. Furthermore, in view of recent air battle with India; we might expect tests earlier.

I simply cannot believe the negative bullshito comments by some members here.
This jet has proved capable in combat. In two roles. Ground attack and air to air combat.
They upgrade it to make it eve more lethal with greater speed, composites radar and weapons a d still some members bitch. Well if you talk so much why dont you get an aircraft design degree from somewhere like cranfied and go and help your country. If block 3 can take on the best of the west and russia and its ours to do what we want with it then stuff the world. We go our way.
So please stop effing complaining and be grateful you have an airforce and not an air fart like india

Flew a Cessna there, first and last time, such a boring experience. Bit like driving a car I guess only fun when drive a high performance car like a fighter jet.
Cranfield is an ex-world war 2 airbase converted to an RAF connected technical college/University offering MBAs even now.

LAHORE (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th March, 2019) Pakistan and China have finalized the latest Block III design of JF-17, making the jets capable of competing for the world’s modern fighter planes.

The Thuder jets, after upgrading, will be able to compete American F-16, Australian FA-18, F-15, Russian Sukhoi 27 and France Miraj 2000. A Turkish website reported that Beijing and Islamabad have agreed to finalize the up-gradation plan for JF-17.

The upgrade, it is reported, intended to match latest fourth-generation military jets. The new plan aimed at enhancing engine power and speed. Lightweight material will be used for preparation and an active electronically scanned array radar will be fitted in it.

Block-III design was finalized after a period of two-and-a-half years. On the other side, JF-17 received worldwide fame after hitting the Indian jets on violation of Pakistan air. A military aviation website and American online magazine reported that prices of the shares of went up to 10 percent after five minutes of Indian jets crash.

An online magazine of East Asia reported the Indian jets were the first prey of JF-17. The jets won international praise during Paris Air show. Pakistan and China jointly developed the fighter jet.

Lol...mate i have a masters in aircraft design from Cranfield insitute of technology in bedford near milton keynes. You cant go there unless u r a graduate and people come from all over the world to learn about aircraft design there. The professors there teach you up to date tech and are involved in just about every tech going. Lots of research and development goes on here and all you got is lol. Shocking

My concern is with engine and payload.

Since now it killed both Mig21 and SU30, and Myanmar are operating it, is there any debate among the Bangladeshis about the fallout of dogfight over Kashmir to your situation with Myanmar?
