Above quoted thread is advanced with much of discussions/possible upgrades etc & first expected test flight so, in my opinion, to be kept separate.

However, seems like source quoted same old news (OP of this thread) under current situation between Pakistan India, as a reminder. Merged both threads with similar inputs regarding design finalization.

Huh  JF17 Block 2 air to air refuling:

AESA confirmed a dozen times for Block 3 - see JF17 thread. EW capability of even block 1/2 proven during recent battle against IAF. Block 1 being upgraded to block 2 already.

My point is that there are so often several even sometimes nearly exactly named threads open to discuss the same topic. IMO plain
