JF-17 Block-3 -- Updates, News & Discussion

Three blk 3s are being assembled at AMF, with one about to undergo testing. Surprisingly, all three are dual seats, and sport minor visible changes from B versions. Changes include widened intakes, and a wide angle holographic HUD.

The revised version of KLJ-7As support six simultaneous air to air engagements, unlike four in the LKF-601E.

Not sure if this is 601/603 or block 3, wider intake hard to tell and recognisable compared to older jf like f-16 hard to tell ??

Six aam is current max of underwing drop tanks are replaced by aam

Dual launcher looks like take space and usually supersonics tanks on inner pylon ??

Nope, that is the HUD fitted in current versions, offers 25 degree FOV. The blk 3 had a holographic HUD that looked similar to the one fitted in j-10C.

Dual launcher will become a standard fit among all thunders if and when needed.

Those are beautiful little beasts.

Look closely at the first model, does it look a little different from standard B model?

Vertical & horizontal tail, inlets, less raised spine, canopy but after all, it is a model. Do you have picture of one behind the plane that posted above.

As far as I can guess, No.

Looks like JL-9.

Yep, its a JL-9

one if JF-17 and other one is JL-9

First one looks more like JF-17, J-10 & F-16 got merged together.
