Israeli lecturer takes part in Pakistan conference

Palestinians did nothing with the support they had so far. All I hear is excuses. If the people wanted to study and get somewhere in life they would be chasing that. Whats the point of fighting in such futility? Come back when you have actually have an army to fighting with. This is stupidity.

Build friendly relations with Israel. Pakistan needs to focus on reaching out to as many countries as they can as part of foreign policy.

Pakistan should build good relations with Israel but if they want this then they must also come forward with sincerity.

Israeli Professors should be welcomed in Pakistan. If Israel starts treating Palestinians like human beings, we may have diplomatic relations too.

here is one case where Pakistan can learn from India, for the longest time we didn't have full diplomatic relations with Israel because of internal pressures but look at our relations now.

India continue to support the Palestinian cause and have managed to successfully walk the diplomatic tightrope.. how ? because it's not an issue in our immediate neighborhood. That's why we have good relations with Iran/Israel as well.

I would be supportive of any lessening of the Pakistani stance toward Israel, I've even met some Israelis who actually wanted to travel to Pakistan..

Was this story carried in any Pakistani newspaper or just Ha'aretz? Apparently the only source is Professor Suleiman himself. Would be nice to hear from someone else what impression he made on Pakistanis. Anybody at PDF attend his lecture?

My professor of developmental genetics has taught us first four topics from Israeli research done by Mr.Raz ,from Israeli university in which it was discussed that how acrosomal vesicle bursts and chain reactions followed by Ca+2 oscillations takes place during fertilization process and embryo development.I believe that Israeli professors must be welcomed and encouraged to have joint research with our universities like Americans and others-and politics must not be allowed to inter fare in academic activities. I wish that Israel soon realizes of her terrible actions and unjust occupation & seek peaceful process.

I am not talking about Mr.Raz Suleiman but Tamer Raz and Ruth Shalgi, department of embryology and teratology ,Sackler faculty of medicine Tel Aviv university ,Ramat Aviv.
I am not sure, guess these two are different persons.Kindly correct me if I am not mistaken.

Pakistan will never dare set up relations with Israel. It will go contrary to their political image.

We should opt for better relations with Israel. No need to harbor animosities with countries who do want to fight us. Just for the record, Israel never started this feud with Pakistan. We Pakistanis started this hostility against them in support of our Arab / Muslim Brothers who don't give a Rat's A$$ about our issues in reference to Kashmir.

I am a Big Supporter and Proponent of normalization of relations with Israel. Let us put Pakistan's National interest first.
