in terms of getting drunk on power ( oil!) nothing beats the Arabs .. saladin when back will have to wash an awful lot of laundry at home first !!

india is surrounded by muslim countries and india depends on oil from muslim countries. if lets say these middle eastern monarchies fall do you think the new governments elected by the people will go easy on india? or israel?

Yes... Any government in West Asia will do business with India. And it will be easier to do business with them because in all probability a General will be replacing the Monarchs.

Just saying - It has nothing to do with religion; most urban Indians only care about who has more to offer, whom we can learn from, and our everyday (mostly positive) experiences with the people of Israel right here in our own country helps quite a bit as well.
