Pakistan should teach Arabic anyway. It will help Pakistanis understand better the Last Revelation.Okay. Imagine if Pakistan joined Saudia Arabia, Oman, UAE in a political union to make a united ummah titled the "Islamic Union". Would you suppor this. Please vote Yes or NO. And give reasons. Pakistan would be required to teach the language of Islam - Arabic. It would be made national language of Pakistan helping it to fit with the Islamic Union. A road linking Lahore with Mecca would be built using Gwadar as ferry port to Muscat. Pakistan was made for Muslims. This would be the consummation of that project.

* Of course I voted "No". I don't think shared religion is sufficent to bind together this union. Only Arab and Pakistani please vote. And do please give reasons for your vote. Thanks

Arrogance is too much. That leads to the Devil and Afghanistan. And let me make this clear. I believe with almost total and absolute vigour that Pakistan has some of the brightest people on earth. I also believe Pakistan has one of the greatest historical heritages on earth that goes back to 8,000 years. I also believe in this sense Pakistan is there with the cradles of civilization - China, Mesopotamia and Egypt. I also believe that Pakistan is the direct inheritor of this greatest legacy [one of few] in the world. By comparison Europeans are savages made recently good with light makeover.
However it does pain me enormously that too many Pakistani are todaying aping Arabs, or playing second fiddle. Their critical thinking has been mushed. Too many are imprisoned by a religious culture that shackles their abilities - critical thinking is degraded in our young if not murdered while they are children. We need a generation that asks, questions everything. Nothing is holy. And they must have belief that they are better than all the rest including Arabs. I would want our young to be arrogrant but free thinkers. To think of Pakistan only. To hell with Rohingyas or Mindanaos etc
Rather simple. Rather clear. Rather focussed.
Moderate is not a absolute term my friend. It is relative. It very much depends on where you [who] draw/s your/their poles. And it varies with each person. It's not like central road marker lines on the highways.
First, they would take your nuclear weapons and nuclear technology and then they would throw you out of the union because = non-Arab no real Muslim.Sometimes even stupid people can come out with good ideas. Can people please give reasons for their vote.
I feel like u r ignoring the most obvious...which is the ppl's mindset. What u r saying is a possibility but not reality(currently). When Islam first came about ppl followed it very strictly and thus their differences didn't matter. They were united as one regardless of their tribes, ethnicity, color of skin, or linguistic differences. This unity was a major factor in the rise of that Islamic empire. Overtime this mindset changed and the Ottoman Empire(the last successor of the early Islamic empire) broke into pieces. This was bcuz ppl's concept of that unity that u r talking about became one of those things that everyone thinks would be great but none are willing to make that change in themselves. The biggest one of those "divisions" is the shia/sunni thing among others.I disagree. Have you ever heard of the Two Nation Theory? From that you can surmise by deductive logic that all Muslims are one nation. The theory is premised on the fact that religion is a greater denominator than ethnic/lingustic or other demographic factors. It therefore follows Arabs/Sindhi/Punjabi etc is one peoples

Secularism should be goal for Pakistan.
Just look at one of two most prosperous muslim countries along Singapure- Turkey.
Literacy in Otoman Empire - 9 %
10 years of Ataturk - 33%
University in Ottoman Empire - establish in 1454 (if i remember well) but 95% of knowledge was based on Islamic teology.
University in Republic of Turkey - Istanbul 1925 - until 1938 became most referenced university in Islamic world.
Military - according to H.Inalcik, Ottoman empire imported 91 % of its weapons in 1903.
Ataturk reforms reduce 16.3% of population who was in touch with Ottoman military aparate to 5.2 % and made it more mobile and "faster", no need to explain what that reforms do with budget deficit. He reduce deficit for 31%, just in 2 and half years. According to K. Dervis.
So, I dont have Pakistan origins and I am non Muslim. Maybe I dont have right to disscus in this topic, but you have a choice. And with your vast potential it would be a disgrace to your children to pursue sharia law instead of some kind of soft authority or hard type of democracy (which is suitable for Pakistan type of mentality).
Hell no ! Pakistan is better off on it's own.
Khan saab qayamat kio bula rahe.
Maan li apki baat
No I am just being practical anyway that goes for everyone if you believe in it- Pakistan does not need to worry about qayamat as much as these horrendous gulf arab states (except Oman they're ok) look what they are doing in Yemen and who they are aligning with.
If you look at it smartly and wisely, the Saudi move was quite pragmatic, in this way no one can put all the Muslims in the same bag.. not even the US..and Pakistan still keeps some leverage from Arab states on top of China's support..Next time Pakistan needs next gen fighters or backup at the Security Council I will see what your superior circumcized brothers floating on oil will do. You saw that recently. When Trump growled at Pakistan. Athiest China sent a non too subtle message to USA. So did your "munificient petrol pool" by giving Trump $100 billion of defence contracts. Way to go.
