Yes, they are Muslims. Perhaps the most puritanical of all Muslims in the world. They follow the faith to the letter.

You could have done better than this by the way no? :disagree:

Or may be you are following instructions to letter these days? :what:

You asked me one question regarding the hadith and I answered it. In your previous post you said you made three observations and I don't see them. So, yes, you have reading comprehension issue.

Here quoted my own message again, different color text represents different questions asked by me

Read this Hadees again .................... I find it difficult to accept, a man seeking forgiveness still prefers to do an evil? He cannot ask forgiveness from ALLAH at his home, his place but has to travel to some distant place? And then Angels deciding whether he is pious or evil?

Okay now I see your question. You misread the hadith, first of all he isn't Muslim. Secondly he already made repentance(in some form we don't know of ). However he wanted to know if it is even possible to be forgiven or if it is out of discussion. So the monk told him go to the land of the Muslims to know the answer. I cannot answer the last question. But the overall case I made didn't need to require hadith and check previous posts for what I said.

These are the facts of the Hadith. So what else do you want from me? Answer theological/philosophical questions with my own opinion? Why would I do that?

Depends man. I don't have any instructions to follow mate. :P How do you do?

I am Good ALHAMDOLILA, how about you? Still busy with secret lab projects?

Just that why believe in hear say without referring to Quran. Anyways I get your intended point.

There is a whole school of thought that drives their actions. .I would define it as an extremist faction or wing.

Call it a 'terrorist' group, if you absolutely must! After all, terrorism is not based on religion.

I consider extremism to be looking for gluten and what not in chewing gums and potato chips.

There is a difference to what isis is doing and what it intends to achieve. They are driven by ideology, their actions are to induce fear, in the end they want to establish an Islamic state ruled under shariah. They draw their inspiration from genghis khan's raids and plunders.

They are backed by what one would call an extreme right wing religious faction / school of thought.

There's more to isis then mere terrorism.

The Islamic State is no mere collection of psychopaths. It is a religious group with carefully considered beliefs, among them that it is a key agent of the coming apocalypse. Here’s what that means for its strategy—and for how to stop it.
