I've been thinking I believe the consensus is internationally that Muslims who join IS aren't really Muslims.

So if this true then the worse possible punishment and deterrent for people to join IS is to deny them Jannah

and how do you do that??

the crimes IS has done in the name of Allah should warrant such an action


they think they're Muslims so this the best method to punish them

Yes, they are Muslims. Does that mean Muslim community consider them righteous Muslims? For most part, no. They justify some actions that aren't justifiable in Islam. The reason they get more attention than others is they claim to be holy group. Other governments/militias in area commit similar or worse crimes which are also not justifiable in Islam but people pay less attention to them.

Theologically speaking, as per Islamic scripture, they are called Kharijites. So neither of your options apply. Since they are a breed of Muslims who are considered to be among the worst of human beings. In scripture they use the term of "stray dogs of hell" for them referring to how they will be roaming the hell in the form of stray dogs, that is they will not be allowed to be even human in the hell.

1. No it isn't, don't flood this forum with cheap propaganda that lowers IQ of members here. The effective way to defeat ideas of ISIS is to offer alternative. Which is exactly what Muslim nations are doing currently.

2. Yes they are Muslim, every member is different. Some may have good or bad intentions. Kufr is associated with shirk/denial of God. You can kill as many people but still remain Muslim. Now whether God will forgive you or not is different story. Depends on who repents and who doesn't and the sincerity of the repentance. ISIS is not any worse than any army/militia in the region. All of them are killing people.

Well, these are vile creatures. But we have to be careful ourselves while fighting them, so that we do not become vile ourselves.

Using animal skin whether of pig or other animals is not unknown in Islamic history. It is said Muhammad bin Qasim was executed by the Calif of the time by having him stitched in animal skin and made to travel on the back of a mule from India to Syria in extremely hot weather. The poor fellow suffocated to death.
