...there is a word called exception.....comes into effect due to political will or public pressure.
sadly, it came due to the latter and ur political forces forced ur judiciary to act on the basis of DNA evidence.
forgive my ignorance about all other rape cases, but most of them say the guilty goes away scot free and the victim is penalized due to extra marital coitus.
i dont give a hoots how u run ur country, but if u show my country due to one or two cases, thats a bit unfair.

what happened ? Pakistan became islamic republic in 1956 and this constitution came in 1973 but most of are laws are still based on government of india act 1935

all i m saying that if we started counting cases, you will look like sudan in front of us. its mostly because we had a functional judiciary, our leaders took only 3 years to come up with a constitution, and that you guys had a very little population. simple maths. so does ur country becomes sudan in front of us?, hell no.

What he's saying is completely true. A woman needs to produce 4 MALE witnesses to prove that she has been raped. DNA testing is a phenomenon of the past couple decades before that it was either having 4 male witnesses or getting lashed for adultery. Hell even with DNA evidence cases were often dismissed, it was only in the mid 2000's after Musharrafs arrival that he had a bill passed which made DNA evidence the primary proof. Don't be a denialist, call a spade a spade.

As for the women's testimony, it's worth less in certain circumstances such as financial transactions, but likewise, there are certain circumstances where the man's testimony is worth less than that of a women. Under most circumstances, the testimonies are worth the same.
