Lol.. what more can be expected from a secterian turd... keep it up turd..

In the end you will just die like another pathetic secterian insect...
Sectarian? Me sectarian? How do you know it? Never call me a sectarian when you don't live in a mixed religion neighbourhood. I have a hindu who live very next to me and a christian who live 7 meters away from my house and we live like brothers and sisters. Do not call me sectarian when you do not have friends from various sects of hindu, christian and moslem and live together peacefully. Actually I have friends from all kind of religions(with an exception to shia-it must be interesting to ones) and atheist and have no single fuzz with them.
While i can maintain an excellent relationship with those non-moslem friends I would not tolerate if they messing up with my religion. Hajj pilgrimage is exclusively belong to moslems and I do not want my non moslems friend to interfere with it.

Mr. Haidar, I was missing you, Al-Arabiya is not famous for posting unauthentic reports rather the opposite. We are not talking about the PressTV (PISSTV) that you are a addict of.

So does this little video help you?

Of course the Qibla will not be changed since this is a decision that cannot be reversed since Allah (swt) already instructed the last Messenger of Allah (swt) to make the Kaaba in Makkah the qibla.

Al-Maliki and a few other misguided Shia can bark all they want. Not going to happen. Besides I still cannot believe how a educated man as Al-Maliki and head of state can make such a outrageous comment.
Who care this is his personal political opinion, last ditch effort to put shia political parties on his side. For me being shia, nothing important ....lot bigger crime muslims are doing in the world in the name of Islam......

.
Saudi hajj tourism is a lot of money. Maybe the shia are trying to make their own disneyland? It would make sense cause I do not see Saudi's distributing that income. But they are definitely making real tall hotels with large clocks. Plus lots of that money ends up buying weapons for people who decide who is muslim and who isnt.

This is important news because we are talking about a head of state, Shia Islamist and educated man that has been crying about Sunnis not accepting Shias and his country. Actions like that one is not doing him any favors rather the opposite.

We always hear about Shias complaining about being the good guys and the persecuted guys etc. but they are the ones (at least many of them of course not all) that are insulting revered Muslim figures for instance. Don't see the opposite taking place. For instance I don't see us Sunni Muslims insulting Sayyidah Fatimah (ra). Anyway this is not a Sunni-Shia debate.

This is about a famous Muslim who in a official position is saying nonsense. We are not talking about some unimportant and uneducated man.

Lastly I think it is strange that only 1 Shia in this thread has condemned this speech.

I know that Shias revere Ali ibn Abi Talib (ra) JUST like Sunnis do and if anyone made a insulting comment about him I would be the first one to defend him.

I think it is worrying that Muslims have come to the point that they can simply not admit the faults of their own sect in order not to appear weak or wrong in the eyes of the other sect. Very worrying. Unfortunately this thread has confirmed this tendency.

Of course this is not any news compared to other things but why not condemn it and move on? I am only writing in this thread right now because the debate, as expected, took another turn (not about the actual topic).

Now the usual 3-4 clueless trolls about KSA and Islam are trolling about KSA. Anyway nothing new. When somebody cannot respond to the actual topic one can always troll instead.

So shias are non muslims?

P.S: Oh pious muslim have you read the Holy Quran and Hadiths reguarding labelling others as non muslims and considering oneself a pious muslim superior to others?

Just coz you live in a "mixed neighbourhood" doesnt mean ... when you are filled with hatred ?... and a pathetic mentality...

Have a good day.

Ali Khan.

Muslims.... are their own worst enemies.. !

But don t worry, nobody or non shia endorse his statement. If he do this intentionally then he is murtid, then religious authorities should ask for explanation.

Its so true people totally lost the spirit of hajj and omra, now a days first thing they investigate about gold rate in Mecca and Madina market.

You don't think that it is worrying that more Shias (not only on this forum) are not condemning such speeches? The bunch here, instead of condemning the actual news, have instead decided to troll and act like nothing is wrong with such a statement knowing fully well that it is the case. I mean don't you follow the commands of Allah (swt) as well despite some differences? Or the lack of reaction in the Iraqi media? Does that not tell you something?

Shias are welcome to visit Makkah and Madinah and have always been that and will always be that (despite differences) but quite frankly, why should the likes of Al-Maliki bother to make hajj or umrah with such attitudes? It reminded me of some of the comments of Iranian Mullah's about them considering Qom more pious than Makkah and Madinah and also similar comments about Karbala and Najaf…..

It is like they really want to form their own religion or their own institutions and break lose from what bind us all Muslims together despite differences in sects. I find that VERY worrying. So of course I am vocal about that especially in this political climate with Syria and everything.

.
I wanna bet 80% of muslims will be opposed to this foolish idea. 20% left who are Shias might support it, but I am hoping there are some even in Shia sect who will oppose this misguided person's suggestion. But even if they dont oppose him. It will never happen as they dont have the majority support of all muslim countries who are all mostly sunnis.
:p:

Well, seeing what maliki said I am compelled ton conclude so. And I have no problem with that. Fill with hatred? What hatred? You can't hate somebody while help them when they are in trouble, comfort them when they are sick. You can't hate somebody when you keep exchanging gift and share your food with them. Or can you?

And yet hate them? and shia = kafir and God knows what?? and since when does maliki become a prophet or a khilifa?

Hatred or assumptions?

Iraq has unpredictable condition, its state of turmoil. Anything can be expected. It will take years to calm down. Shia been mass murdered during Saddam era, so hatred still in the hearts. But Iraqi future is bright. Still Shia been slaughtered on daily bases...no place is secured in Iraq. Not even Red zone or Green zone. Its literally a hell on earth. But Maliki statement is not right thing on addressing masses.

Look, that is no excuse. Let me remind you that Shias were not more targeted than other Iraqis during the era of Saddam Hussein. He targeted anyone that happened to be against him or rebelled against him. Even his own family members. He did not target Shias systematically. The thing was that quite a few Shias were against him. For example the uprisings in Karbala of 1991.

Actually Sunnis have had the highest number of casualties since 2003. Both under the American invasion and subsequent occupation and after they pulled out in 2011. Read the statistics about that.
The most dangerous provinces (those with most deaths) are majority Sunni Arab provinces such as Diyala, Salah ad-Din, Ninawa and Al-Anbar aside from the capital which is a province itself. The Shia South is very peaceful in comparison with those provinces.

I still don't think it is any excuse.

Hate them? For what? I honestly wish them to abandon mecca as the qibla and quit hajj pilgrimage as they wish it too. There is nothing so special about somebody else being non-moslem. You will always be able to live with anybody regardless of their religion as long as you respect each other. My God, why this becoming so serious?

.
Now back to topic first of all its unfair for the neutral people to accept what these wahhabist saying about Al-Maliki since they are the enemy of us second Mr, Al-Maliki never meant what these cave men try to tell what he meant is that Imam Hussain PBUH is a Qibla for those against the tyrants and unjustice every where any where he isn't talking about changing our Qibla to Karbala'a no muslim nor a wise man can have that claim never ever.
