gentlemen, you are making the comparison with ships with dimensions and displacement much higher than the Mowj frigates, surely for these frigates you need to have a compromise, not everything can be placed on board, therefore leave the method of launching anti-ship missiles unchanged and dedicate yourself to identifying where position the VLS for the SAMs, this to give more anti-aircraft coverage thanks also to a higher number of missiles that can be launched in succession.
Then certainly for the next heavy destroyers everything can be planned in advance, providing VLS for all types of missiles.

Does anyone know the range of Mehrab missile?
Mehrab should be comparable to rim 66/SM-2 as they either copies of said missile or refurbished units of that missile. The Sayyad 2 is a superior derivative of native origin with an excellent radar/fire control system. Also, Sayyad 2 could be made to work with Cheshmeh Oghab or Asr radar systems too.

The sad thing is they still haven’t hidden the radio/radar towers on these vessels in a RCS reducing structure

Something like this

With the exception of US and Russia, Iran is the third country in the world that not only designs and builds her own hull but also makes all the subsystems, weapons propulsion and integration(software) that makeup a war ship...just to give you an example the Canadian City class frigates that were built in the 80s and 90s had pretty much all their subsystems and propulsion imported from all around the world...That to me is such an important point that no photo can convey....well done to Iranian builders and lets hope the next surface class is even bigger and more capable.

You forgot China, China naval shipyards are currently pumping out the most ships in the world.
