Yeah that was the same Trump administration which the allies turned their backs on and his own staff had no respect for...China engaged in tit for tat and managed to get her released. Iran is still selling enough oil to China to stay afloat, so the bit about "all Chinese companies" is an exaggeration, unless you meant private companies.

According to official National Iranian Oil company the oil in that ship does not belong to Iran. News of this oil belonging to Iran is fake news.

China's top of the line warship subsystems...looks like in house contribution is mostly the hull and some weapons..all other subsystems sourced from outside which is typical for any navy except Iran which has to build everything from scratch.

The main gun is not Italian, it is a derivative of the Russian 130 mm twin-barreled AK-130, which are installed on Sovremenny destroyers purchased in Russia.

Please think twice, and do some google search before believing those posts. Type 055 it is the lead ship of more than 70 years of naval construction. Starting from Type 053 which were a natural evolution of Riga class frigates and Luda class destroyers... Main Radar of Type 055 it is the THIRD GENERATION of Type 346 AESA radar which has been completely indigenous developed inside China.

Moreover I´ve said more than once that the path of the IRIN should be similar to PLAN. Just standarize the Moudge class, and jump to a bigger combat navy ship, but always standard, because the PLAN problem is basically the same as IRIN, NONE naval power will transfer any serious technology to IRIN. 5 or 6 ships with VLS in the same category of Type 054A+ would be great. But unfortunately IRIN must do it alone.

in a country that has been subjected to strong sanctions and embargoes for more than 40 years and that has had to create almost from scratch everything it needs in the military sector, what happens on the Moudge class is the natural evolution of technological knowledge, which then poured into the creation of increasingly modern systems.
Therefore, for me, nothing strange about the delivery times and the evident differences of the units which are only theoretically of the same class. When they reach an "optimum" in the various systems and methods of construction of hulls and superstructures, surely we will have a new class of ships which will certainly have better standardization.
