Glad to see Sahand with fire control radar for Mersad 16 aboard. You can see two hatches closed for TV/EO/IR guidance for Kamand CIWS and (cross fingers) maybe even radar assisted.
I would like to see close up picture of mast. There should be the TV/EO/IR equipment for Fajr gun, because its place have been occupied for the FCR of Mersad system.
It is really good to see that kind of operational maturity of Sahand frigate. All this knowledge must be applied in Dena too.

ARTESH is a phased array radar on older naval vessels.
IRGC is old radar on modern naval vessels.

No VLS...Navy sucks

I recall two years ago Navy chief said eventually all these ships will get VLS..my guess is that the current supply of VLS all go to Solaimani class corvettes (12 to be made) and the Mowje ships will get their VLS during mid life upgrades.

Before claiming that it has no VLS, or adequate anti-aircraft/missile defense, we must wait to see the Damavand-2 completed and delivered to Iran Navy after acceptance tests.

The one Solemani Class Hull1 For Nwab Missile.

Can be this a Hafez Radar in a naval mount?

It is used in the Mersad 16 SAM system and could be a "S" search radar, in such case, which is the FCR?, because if this is search radar...
