Is Iran looking up for Kilo submarines and some ships from Russia? Or looking to do JV in Frigates and Submarines?

Remarably similar to a Type 212 (but for the conventional, rather than X-tail)
U212aduitslandkl.jpg

X style rudders would have been perfect for shallow Persian gulf waters. Wish they would have used it... Hey guys, what do you think about the use of Carbon Fibre in the construction of the main hull? I bet it would have great anechoic properties (though I'm not sure), it would be much lighter, it would be virtually maintenance free and according to the below experiment it stands up very well to hydrostatic pressure....

The technological evolution
The first application of composites for german submarines dates back to the use of Fibre Reinforced Plastics (FRP) on board the German Navy HDW Class 206 submarines. For these boats and the later designs of the HDW Class 209 family parts of the upper superstructure and sail as well as sonar windows were first made in solid, later in sandwich designs.
Constant evolution of the boat allowed for the intensified application of composites. Today for both HDW Class 212A and HDW Class 214 designs beside the traditional Glass-fibre Reinforced Plastics (GRP) also Carbon-Fibre Reinforced Plastics (CFRP) are used. These are used in particular when it comes to the design of large three-dimensional shapes or when outstanding transparency is required, e.g. to cover specific sonar windows.
The use of composite materials must not be limited to the design of new vessels. Of course also steel made structures of existing ships and submarines can be replaced by composite structures.

Also very close in size & displacement !
Since the other Besat pic appears to be a nicked pic of a US Virginia class SSN, what do you think are the odds of this pics being a nicked pic of a German/Italian Type 212A? Or Dolphin (although that has the diving planes in the wrong place? Or the Italian/Russian S-1000 (based on the Russian Amur)?

(note the similarity to the 212A artwork.)

we have to wait & see ...

Indeed! Just saying I don't have a lot of confidence in artwork or artist impressions. Models are better. Pictures even better.

Sure ... this is all we have from besat :
