That is exactly the intention of this competition. If just a news can do this, imagine what will happen if the Iranians actually went ahead with the proposed competition. All the freedom of speech is for mocking and maligning Islam, its figures, and teachings; when Muslims question something, all of a sudden the freedom-of-speech goes up in someone's behind.

They don't need cartoons for gunning down Muslims. They are already doing it on almost daily basis in occupied Palestine.

AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- A Jewish settler ran over a Palestinian journalist called Raed Abu Rmaileh at noon Sunday near al-Haram al-Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of al-Khalil.

The PIC reporter said the journalist Abu Rmaileh was transferred to hospital by Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance for treatment in one of the city’s hospitals.

Abu Rmaileh is a journalist from al-Khalil. He is working at B'Tselem human rights organization; he documents the Israeli crimes against Palestinians in al-Khalil, specially the Old City and the vicinity of al-Haram al-Ibrahimi Mosque.

Jewish settler runs over two Palestinian children in West Bank, killing one

A Jewish settler ran over two Palestinian children near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, leaving the two girls in a serious condition, eyewitnesses a Palestinian medical official said Sunday.

According to the witnesses, the settler hit the two girls, both aged 5, on the main road near Sinjil town, leaving them badly injured.

Eye witnesses added that the fled the scene after running over Toleen Omar Asfour and Inas Shawkat Khalil, who were returning from kindergarten.

According to the Director of Ramallah medical complex, Ahmed Bitawi, the girls arrived in a coma and medical teams had scrambled to save their lives.

While Toleen Omar Asfour condition is currently stable, a few hours ago, Inas Shawkat Khalil succumbed to her wounds.

Palestinian and Israeli authorities have not yet commented on the incident.

Recent months have seen a rise in attacks by Jewish settlers on Palestinians across the occupied West Bank with the Palestinian officials accusing Israeli army and police personnel of turning a blind eye to the assaults.

Last week, Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah slammed Israel for failing to bring to account Jewish settlers responsible for a recent wave of vandalism against Palestinian property in the occupied territory.

I think you have a warped sense of freedom of speech. In fact I'm not sure you understand that verbal dissent is also freedom of speech.

You don't seem to understand the line between speech and blowing/ shooting up people over it.

Just observe their responses. We are no immorals to publish a cartoon which is just a healthy response to the trend started by the bearers of infinite freedom and nfinite expression.
