The Defense Industries Organization (D.I.O), affiliated subsidiaries of Ministry of Defense and Support of Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is developing a new Pirooz anti-tank guided missile carrier vehicle.

The concept of new Pirooz anti-tank missile system was displayed at IQDEX-2017 international defence exhibition in Iraq. The Pirooz weapon station is mounted on various types of tactical and armor vehicles.

The Pirooz remote weapon station is fitted block of four Dehlaviyeh missile launchers. The launcher station can fire the new upgraded missile Dehlaviyeh with has the capacity to be fire at a maximum range of 5,000 m.

The Pirooz system could promote its tactical and operational capabilities by combination of electro-optical tracking system, two-degree freedom platform and Dehlaviyeh ground laser-site.

The Dehlaviyeh thought to be an Iranian ‘copycat’ of the Russian KBM 9M133 Kornet missile.

Not really helpful in mountainous terrain.
Not too mobile--can easily be targeted by hidden enemy.

.
Looks similar to the russian Kornet D ATGM system:

Wow the importance of placement shows itself here. For almost the same realestate, the Russian variation has double the payload. But I guess that can be optimized later. Perhaps it was a design choice from feasibility to keep four launchers.

well , I have better use for the system , change the kronet with Manpad and put it on fast boat and then you gave them chance against attack helicopters.

They can use it as is against choppers. Did you know the only Israeli Cobra that was shoot down in 2006 was targeted by a Dehlaviye missile?

they can use it but a Misagh is better for this work ,is faster have better range have better altitude and have less weight

Note that the Pirooz system is apparently capable to guide two missiles with its single guidance unit, while the Russian Kornet-D has two Separate guidance systems that can each launch a single missile (making 2 in total like the Pirooz).
Hence the Pirooz is a two channel two missile system that has to obvious goal to target tanks with APS system. A salvo of two missiles against a single target is possible, but not two missiles against two different targets (which would be e.g useful against VBIED).

@PeeD how would this work, does that mean the second missile just follow the first missile via comm link? My understanding is that latest DEHLAVIEH has its optical sensors in the rear to avoid jamming. Looking at the pod, I only see 2 degrees of freedom.

What you said makes Pirooz more capable against modern enemies,but does that mean it will automatically launch 2 missiles one after the other in 0.4 seconds or its up to the operator?

Pirooz doesn't have a thermal targeting system why is that?!:hitwall:

Active protection systems is not about jamming anti-tank guided missiles,it's about intercepting it with a small projectile fired from the targeted tank to destroy the missile so even if dehlavie has an anti-jamming capability it's not enough!

My comment was about the guidance and control of two missiles using one laser beam. My question to @PeeD if it is possible to use single beam on a platform that can move with 2 degrees of freedom to guide 2 missiles for the same target if the laser seekers are on the rear of the missiles.

@arashkamangir

It has two missile laser communication links, side by side. The missiles to the left are guided by one laser channel and those to the right with another

@husseinibnali

It has a thermal channel and no, it can be selected if one or two missile (anti-APS mode) are necessary.
