Funny how Iranian nuclear program started in the 70's and they still can't develop one bomb.
Saudi Arabia already has (2-6) bombs either stored in Pakistan or in Saudi. That's based on western intelligence, google it. If we decided to build our own indengous bomb it would take us a few years not 4 decades+.
The only thing holding us back is a political decision from the king.
Unlike Iran, we are not coy and don't dance around the subject.
Our government officials publicly said that an Iranian bomb means a Saudi bomb. and that is taken seriously because its the main reason why an Iranian bomb is so much feared by America & Israel, because it will trigger a nuclear race in ME, not because they think Iran will nuke Israel BS joke.

Pakistani nuclear program is also part of KSA's nuclear program. However I don't think the deal was for Pakistani nukes but it was for after it is done Pakistan will continue the work in KSA in educating Saudi personnel and scientists.

Why to make nuclear bomb? Just for Israel??
Why not bring resolution for sanction to Israel in the United Nation.
Only Israel contains nuclear bomb in the middle east.
Why not to resolve the issue peacefully in the United Nation.
You can easily pass resolution against Israel in the United Nation that Israel have no reason for Nuclear bomb because no other country contains nuke in the middle east.

Yeah it is funny seeing some people here claiming that Saudi strategic missile force is now obsolete and useless considerng it is the main branch in the military that hires Saudi engineers and by far the second biggest looked after force after the air force.

saudi gives a damn about Pakistan - to say that Pakistan n Saudis have nuclear co-operation is a big farce....
There are pragamatic scenarios as under:

Saudi is afraid to store nuclear arms in thier counry, because if mosad knows this, saudi will be a target and its vast oil producing instalation would come to halt with just few Israeli strikes.

Now, If pakistan has provided tacit support a la nuke umbrella - as is the case of USa to Japan, South korea, Australia,
New zealand....then why is Saudi treating Pakistan and its citizens shabily?

When pakistan was in financial trouble, saudi did not come with a hefty cash to bail out Pakistan. This shows that Saudi is not interested in Pakistan,s nuke arsenal. And precisely that way, they are buying conventional weaponary from kafir lands.
