It does. Having world class universities and then having them featured amongst top university rankings is a great achievement. Pakistan has 6 such Universities. How much does Iran have?

then how come Pakistan having 6 such universities has a low ranking in scientific production?

Iran is 16th Scientifically while Pakistan is 43th...
Let us forget that Iranian scientific production is even better sometimes among top 7 countries in most of important sciences...

Iranians are genetically different people. They are people to whom we knew as Parsis in India. Basically they are very intelligent and smart unlike Arabs. They need to get out of Islamic hostality and emerge as a nation respecting Human rights and world order. Iran can emerge as a very respectable member of International community.

Why talk ill of the Arabs? They conquered most of Asia including the Iranis. Their culture permeates through the Middle East. They are the wealthiest muslim. Their companies are internationally known like Emirates.

In my opinion the very concept of the "most developed" or the "most advance" are extremely subjective/qualitative in nature...you can not totally quantify them and make a list out of the countries. It's simply not possible.

Sure there are stark similarities among countries such as Malaysia vs. Somalia (where Malaysia is the clear winner)...or Pakistan vs. Afghanistan (where Pakistan is a clear winner). However the best that could be done in majority of the cases is that Countries can be grouped, for Instance I would say Iran, Turkey and Egypt are in a similar group or India and Brazil are in a similar group...perhaps?

Pakistan is far far away from being called as developed state. It was close to become one but then 9-11 happened, which took us back to stone age.

Not really. Your posts mentions all exept the Turkish perspective. Everyone can posts random stuff but statistics dont lie(mostly). From 1996-2014 Turkey published hundreds of thousands more scientific documents then Iran, of whom have far more H-Citations and above then Iran. So for you to say Iran is "far ahead compared to muslim countries" is f--ing BS.

This means new comers should wait more to grab enough attention to their papers... This was and is the case for China and South Korea and Iran... and will be the case for any other nation who will follow Iranian footsteps...

Btw, I took a look at the list that you provided... Turkey is not doing bad itself... I though Turkey would be in 40th or even 50th but now I see them in top 25 in most sciences... Good for Turkey...

When you talk about how Turkey had more papers in 1996 I recall those who live in 500 BC in Iran, bringing up Persian Empire and Cyrus and Darius the Great as their reference to their greatness... come on...

Iran is long gone for any Muslim country let alone Turkey... Turkey is at lest 30 years behind Iran in most serious sciences... Turkey is a good example in economy but to compare an assemble nation like Turkey with an advanced nation like Iran is just naive... It is not right... good for joking though!

I make comparison with one more angle... list 5 star hotels from Tehran and than I compare it with region.

Tehran is not a tourist destination though having many good hotels... For this you need to bring up Mashhad as it is a touristic destination...

You know that is a really sensible post. We need to learn to cooperate. There is still that opputunity in the future. Iran is blessed with massive oil and gas resources. Cooperation would yeild massive benefits for this region. Turkey/Iran could have been the fulcrum of the Muslim world as in history. However you allowed Saudia to take the lead which was sad day for the wider Muslim world as all it amplified was backwardness and medievalism masked as Islam.

Iran Most Developed Country in Muslim world ?
If someone unbiased prepare a list it should be like that
1- Turkey
2- Pakistan
3- Egypt / U.A.E / Jordan
4- Iran / Syria (before War)

Malaysia and Indonesia are doing far better than Pakistan. imho Turkey is most developed among Muslim world.
