It could make more money than oil but that's not gonna happen in this system cos Iran is far more attractive than every other country in region such as Arabian states , Turkey and other countries in region even west of Asia .

Just look at the amazing nature of Iran in which you can see all seasons at the same time , The different cultures that you see in every single province , our historical places and our hospitable and welcoming people . These are just a few reasons that makes Iran an unique land for tourism industry BUT we wont be able to use this gift as long as some nuts are f.ucking our tourism by their crazy rules .


Dear @xenon54 , Believe me Iran's potential in tourist attraction is not comparable with any country in region but the problem is some crazy rules and crazier fanatic people including lack of investment , management and advertisement .

Mate, our country is also rich with archaeological attractions but Majority of tourists choose Turkey for sun and beach.

That's why i listed the top 3 countries who visits Turkey. They are all Europeans, i can't imagine a Russian or German without booze in his holiday.

It looks like you are not well informed about Turkish tourism, Istanbul alone has 10 million Tourist every year, thats 1/3 of all tourist visiting Turkey, and there are no bikini girls on the streets.
Turkey has also very much Archeological things worth to see.
