Can you tell me when the Mig-29Ks of INS Vikramaditya will participate in the battle group live-fire exercise? I didn't find any relevant information

INS Vikramaditya took part in Malabar exercise with USS Nimitz in 2020. I don't know if they do live fire or not. But whats the point here?

Because it is difficult for me to understand whether an aircraft carrier that has not even conducted a live-fire exercise can be considered to have completed combat preparations. After all, the Liaoning, which was called by the Western media as a training ship until 2018, led the entire aircraft carrier group toconducted live-fire exercises and launched a large number of missiles in 2015。

Well, Indian navy does not need to announce its live fire drills. It may do it and not tell anyone about it because its not a major event to announce. I mean even past carriers of India which participated in actual combat did not announce its live fire drills too.

China does it for many reasons. One being a political point : to warn those with which it has sea territorial disputes. India does not have that big of disputes in sea nor it has neighbors with that big of navy. China has Japan and US navy to bother about and Taiwan to warn. This does not apply to India so it does not announce its naval drill and only major exercises. These exercises involves co-operation between IAF and IN or co-operation between friendly navies like that of QUAD. India does announce live fire exercises A LOT for Indian Army. Incidentally they are held in Pokhran, a village near to Pakistan border... Its obvious why it does it, right? Same reasons as China.

It is not easy to build an aircraft carrier by oneself, although it takes a long time.

INS Vikrant，Construction started in 2006，The first keel was laid in 2009，It was launched three times in 2011, 2013 and 2015, and began sea trials in 2020. It is expected to enter service in 2022.16years​

China 002 Aircraft Carrier，Construction began in 2013.It was built in the shipyard in 2015, tested at sea in 2017， and commissioned in 2019.4 years of construction, 2 years of sea trials, total cost 6 years

This true for Chinese fighter aircrafts as well. However, the end result is fighter aircrafts like J10, J20, J15 (Carrier), J11 etc. Waste of money.

Well, for crashes to happen, you need to actually fly the plane from the damned carrier. Something Chinese are deathly afraid of. For good reasons too. Its made in China after all.

India has no carrier operating anywhere and has not operated its sole "operational" carrier in more than a year with the thing being stationary at Karwar month after month after month.

There is no comparison. China actually operates carriers. India just boasts about operating a carrier and lies about this even when people could plainly see that the Indian carrier is parked at one spot for over a year.
