sorry but there is absolutely NOTHING indigenous about weapons in the Indian military. They are all foreign components assembled in India. That is NOT what's called indigenous. Not even 10% of components inside an Indian weapons platform is made by India.
I think Indians don't understand what indigenous means. This is why India is a laughing stock. No one takes them seriously. If it was actually made with all domestic components, then I would give credit to Indians. But they deserve not iota of credit because there is nothing 'Indian' in the weapons India has.

@Manindra Why we are not buying American Nimitz class AC atleast with Conventional power plant . We will have VIKI by this year end , We will have secong AC only by 2019/20 Whats wrong going for another A/C ? May be russian built too. Has they expressed their intrest on AC for IN . We will have 3 A/C by 2020 and INS Vishal may join by 2022 or 2024 .
One Super Carrier can carry almost 70+ Aircraft . We can order a new one from Russia or US . If budget is a problem why india ordered Nuke Subs (2) , P8 I , 80+ new Fleet , 3 A/C s ... ? Am bit confused. With one super carrier wth f 18 (70) will be a Super Puch at High Sea and Real Nightmare for China isnt it ?"
