India's rupee crisis has muted obsession with overtaking China

If india wants to have a fair competition with China, then the people of india should stop talking their plans/proposals/ideas/dreams 24/7, they should start actually building their nation.

This was not given to us, we worked hard for generations to earn this.

We are mentioned in your media every single day multiple times. You always compare yourselves with us.

Come to China, no one even mentions India among our people. Our media will cover India once every blue moon. We don't care about India, but you care about us

Our rival is the US, we always try to compare ourselves to them to see how we measure up against them.

Actually brother their masters shows them a dream to become super duper power and will be against China and you will be upper handed and you have every thing blah blah. Now things are like that their masters are out of cash to feed them and promote them and result is that their economy is so fragile that it didn't take this and result is downfall and so do their dream

China

In the 18th to 19th centuries, the Sikh Confederacy of the Punjab region in India was expanding into neighbouring lands. It had annexed Ladakh into the state of Jammu in 1834. In 1841, they invaded Tibet with an army and overran parts of western Tibet. Chinese forces defeated the Sikh army in December 1841, forcing the Sikh army to withdraw from Tibet, and in turn entered Ladakh and besieged Leh, where they were in turn defeated by the Sikh Army. At this point, neither side wished to continue the conflict, as the Sikhs were embroiled in tensions with the British that would lead up to the First Anglo-Sikh War, while the Chinese was in the midst of the First Opium War with the British East India Company. The Chinese and the Sikhs signed a treaty in September 1842, which stipulated no transgressions or interference in the other country's frontiers.[20]

I don't know what kind of history they teach you over there in India, no wonder almost every Indian think it was China who started the war in 1962.

opium war??? seriously??do u know when we got our freedom??ur country is tryn to annex parts of almost its every neighbor and its funny ur showing finger towards india!!and yeah its taught better in our country which is why we dont relate pre independence or pre world war stuff to the present day.just like u believe that its india who started the war we believe that its u who started the war.

Whatever you may say, India now faces a lot more trouble than China does. In addition, there are way more obstacles for India to overcome than China as well.
