Indians with help of BSF loot paddy harvest from inside Bangladesh

I think, you are silly to say your comments above. When your many millions go hungry, your govt and Marwaris do not care about them. Instead of distributing the wealth among the Indian hungry poors, your govt exports it, instead.

lol We export because if we don't BD will be in chaos. Don't think about the poor of India because you are the poorest in the region. Every country in this region even Bhtuan has much high income than you. Isn't that funny you talk about India. Our govt thinks about the poor and we will eliminate the poverty soon, thanks to our growth.

Do not trust what you said above. Better, trust the theory prescribed by the Nobel Prize winner, Amartya Sen. He said that even if a country is self-sufficient in food, there is no guarantee that the hungry millions will not remain hungry.

So, an export of a few thousand tons of food grains from such a large country as India is just a paltry. We pay hard cash to buy each and every grain, don't you forget that.

Your comment is another example of your ungratefulness towards those who is doing a favor to you. Instead you are accusing us.

You pay hard cash only because GoI made a special exception for BD to export rice when we are not exporting to anyone else, export of food-grain is banned. Ungrateful people will remain so.

See who is talking!!!!

lol the poorest is making fun of others! You the worst of the poor in south Asia. Thats why ask for loan and credit from us. A large chunk of your budget comes from the foreign donations and you talk like this.
Do not spit at the sky. It comes down right on your face. But, now read your own ugly Indian face below:

Study: More Poor People in India than in 26 African Countries
Selah Hennessy | London 14 July 2010
India Considers Changing Its Food Distribution System for the Poor
India's New Identification Efforts Aimed at the Poor

According to a new study more people live in poverty in eight Indian states than in 26 of sub-Saharan Africa's poorest countries. The creators of the new study said the level of poverty in South Asia compared to Africa was a surprising discovery.

The Multidimensional Poverty Index takes into account issues such as health and education and whether or not people have access to clean water and electricity.

Sabina Alkire is director of the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative and she co-created the new index.

"One striking feature is that most of the poor people live in South Asia – 51 percent of the 1.7 billion people that we have identified as poor are resident in that continent," says Alkire. "And it is not only the number, but also the intensity."

She says about one-quarter of the world's poor live in Africa, according to the MPI.

"When we compare the 26 poorest countries of Africa with states in India that have the same intensity of deprivation, we find there are more poor people with this intensity of deprivation in India than in sub-Saharan Africa. And that is quite striking," Alkire adds.

Alkire says the new Index paints a different and sometimes surprising picture of poverty than studies that look at income alone.

For example, in Ethiopia 90 percent of people are 'MPI poor' compared to the 39 percent who are classified as living in 'extreme poverty'. And 1.7-billion people living in the countries covered by the Index live in poverty according to the MPI – that is higher than the 1.3-billion people who live on $1.25 a day or less.

Alkire says a benefit of the new index is that it shows how poverty affects people living in different regions of a country.

"So we looked at Kenya, where Nairobi has the poverty of the Dominican Republic – not too much poverty – whereas the northeastern rural area of Kenya is worse than our poorest country, Niger, with more than 90 percent of people poor," Alkire said.

She says it also shows the range of poverty amongst different ethnic groups – she says in some countries the variety is tremendous.

The Multidimensional Poverty Index was developed by the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative with support from the United Nations. It will be featured in the upcoming UNDP Human Development Report, replacing the Human Poverty Index.

Researchers analyzed data from 104 countries with a combined population of 5.2 billion – just under 80 percent of the world's total population

Beggars are no choosers, do you know the truth? When we are doing you favors than don't make fun of us. Poorest don't make fun of poor. You spit on the sky not us because our economy is much much better than you and you are the poorest in the region.

All these poverty will be removed in 10 years but what will happen to you? You will continue to beg to others for everything. Every country makes exception for you related to export and labor, this is one kind of begging. Our per capita income is more than two times of that of BD.

I repeat what the user Moorkh once said:

The author forgot about the 1st rule about spreading lies.

The lie should be believable.

Unless
i'm unware that there is global demand in the blackmarket ,for Bangladeshi paddy (especially ones stolen by BSF)

They are doing it because U.S. not only paid them but also taught them about this idea of making quick bucks.

Utter nonsense!
Funniest piece of news in recent times!
If it was true,it is such an important case and deserves only that small an article and attention?
You talk about Indian media, but the aim of media is to earn some $$
And create more spicy and interesting news.
I still can't stop laughing.
And look at the source..
Any other credible source saying the same?

Btw,
I hope Amardesh also publishes articles on illegal Bangaldeshi migrants in India who work as labourers, factory workers rickshaw pullers etc and form a large chunk of poor people in India

The source seems doubtful need to provide alternate source. Even if its assumed true its just a theft but where in picture you see BSF ?

Let GOB file a protest with GOI. Let the facts come out. No point in jumping to conclusions without all facts.
yes that must be done.

.
This is more about BDR lacking a pair, than stealing crop.

Hasina is more busy investigating fund transfer within an organization.

Amar desh is a bnp mouthpiece and thats how we can confirm these news are absolutely true. Its very disappointing how indians always side with the thieves and rapists. The only reason why the indian economy doesn't collapse is because they are good at stealing from their neighbors. And when you see the indians here defending the theieves and rapists, it becomes crystal clear about the type of people they really are.

We are laughing at the ridiculous allegations by BD nothing else... no one here is supporting theft.

How exactly?... By stealing a few kgs of rice?
When was the last time you read anything about economy? By your economics book, all growing economies are parasites?

Not only by stealing a few kgs of rice. you people literally robbed us after 1971 victory of our machines. Growing economies are not parasites, rather economies who steal from other economies are parasites.
