What's new

Is Bangladesh willing to be a part of Greater India?

And how do you plan to move 170 million Bangladeshi Muslims?

The land belongs to the people who live there, just no Hindus.
I don't plan anything, not interested in Akhand Bharat, what will we gain by absorbing other countries in the subcontinent other than inheriting their problems? We have enough problems as is!

.
There is no part taken from India.... both armies are stopping each other from patrolling points in no mans land..... Now Chinese have gone back from Pangangtso area last year this year they went back from Gogra Hotspring... you will soon see them going back from Despang (in no man land area patrolling points.)
Do not say so many things to hide the fact that IA troops lost to the PLA in the last Ladakh conflict. There are tens of videos to see the truth. So, instead of bragging here, you should ask Indian Generals to prepare their troops for fighting in the high Himalayan terrain.

I saw a video whereby PLA troops were begging for mercy. I also read IA troops were not even provided with clothes for the Himalayan cold.

Nobody lost it was a bare hands fight with stick and rods and both had casualties.... India was very quick and transperant to declare casualties whereas pla was hiding casualties for months and after few months they only declared 5 deaths which are actually more....

Please do not keep on blabbering. Accept the truth and improve the quality of Indian soldiery. It is not too late. Whatever you argue is meaningless because all over the world people know why IA troops were holding their ears and were begging for mercy from the Chinese soldiers.

Please do not force me to send those videos. They are too shameful for any country.

you can post whatever videos you want I cant stop you.... my point is it was not a full fledge battle.... our troops are battle hardened and it has been proven in previous wars including Kargil and Chola incident with china in 67 had more Chinese casualties.... See some times you are at disadvantage and some times your enemy can be at disadvantage but that does not mean you or your enemy can be always taken on the ride.... enemies knows this much better than you and me and hence still we control AP, Sikkim, Ladakh, Kashmir.....

Is Bangladesh willing to be a part of Greater India?

4 hours ago Saturday, September 17, 2022

N. P. Upadhyaya (Aryal)

Kathmandu: India and its presumed “brain child” (?) Bangladesh have set the ball rolling in South Asian region.

Why it is a brain child, with due respect and honor to the sovereign nation, we will come to it in the later paragraphs.

Why Sovereign Pakistan was attacked in the so called calculated “war of liberation” by the entire Indian regime’s combined strength is taking a formal shape, if Nepali observers are correct in their assessment and have understood the Indian “motive” behind the scene in the creation of Bangladesh by splitting Pakistan in the seventies.

The Indian war on Pakistan was given a decorative cover of “war of liberation” which it was not for those who are accustomed with the Indian trickery.

mqdefault-300x169.jpg

Nationalists B’deshi people take it as “freedom struggle” and they fought as “freedom fighters”.

The Indian idea was to have an “obedient” nation next door to India wherein the India preferred men or women shall be told to rule the newly emerged nation.

Beginning Sheikh Mujibur Rehman now to Sheikh Hasina were the only ones who ruled for long though Sheikh Mujib’s stay in power was very short.

The strong Bangladesh nationalist party led by the widow of Zia-ur-Rehman, Begum Khaleda Zia comes to power but some “recognized” forces overthrow the nationalist regime for “several obvious” incompatible reasons.

General Zia and Nepal King Birendra are taken as the founding fathers of the SAARC regional body.

Mrs. Gandhi was jealous of these two South Asian stalwarts.

The Indian PM Mrs Gandhi disliked these personalities and took them as “anti-India men”.

General Ershad too ruled B’desh for some time.

Needless to say, the B’deshi people are strong nationalists but their hands are tied in that they can’t oust the government preferred by Delhi’s South Block.

Thus, Sheikh Hasina is the Prime Minister in B’desh perhaps as long as she wishes to remain in power which, media sources claim, enjoys the uninterrupted “blessings” from the Indian regime.

If it is not so then please educate this scribe as to why only Sheikh Hasina as the PM?

The same practice is in Nepal as only India elevated and trusted Nepali leaders having Indian soul are eligible for the PM post.

Sher Bahadur Deuba-the brainless politician of Nepal as he is largely taken, has just fifth siting as Nepal PM thanks Indian machinations.

Deuba will remain Nepal PM as along as he awards the “natural resources” to his master regime in Delhi. Deuba’s clinging to power in Nepal is inviting Sikkimisation closer.

For the split of Pakistan and the emergence of B’desh, let’s admit, some shortcoming from the Pakistani side also which contributed for the “meticulously planned” attack on Pakistan by rival India.

During this time, India was almost the stooge of the former USSR -now the defunct Soviet Union and by extension Pakistan remained as a Cold War ally of the US.

The security pact in between the USSR and India meant for the USSR an ally in Afghanistan wherein Soviets had invaded.

It was this link that India “enjoyed” in Afghanistan for several decades.

With Ashraf Ghani’s escapade, Kabul is free from Indian arm-twisting.

And here was Pakistan clinging to the US resulting in the colossal influx of the Afghan refugees in its territories which could even be seen as of now.

The net gift for Pakistan from the US was that, reportedly, sitting Prime Minister Imran Khan was ousted with the tacit arrangement of the US and the domestic forces that were “close” to the US in the Khan’s ouster scheme.
Imran Khan after his ouster is more popular among the masses.

While the USSR stood at India’s back at time of the creation of Bangladesh, the US almost ignored the friendship with Pakistan thus facilitating the emergence of Bangladesh as a new South Asian nation in Nepal’s immediate neighborhood.

The fact is that the Indian military men under the name of Mukti Bahini flooded East Pakistan and created the new country which in terms of ground reality never enjoyed the excitement of a new and sovereign country, the scholars in Dhaka express their inner pain in a subdued voice.

Interestingly, Madame Gandhi also ordered the Nepali Congress leaders then sheltered in India to extend their full support for her “inner designs crafted by the RAW Spy agency” or else they will be chased away from India.

Nepali leaders equipped the Dhaka “Freedom Fighters” with the arms and explosives from the porous border from India.

Scholar Zainal Abedin perhaps is the best and the perfect political analyst in Dhaka who could explain as to what meant Bangladesh for India given the RAW penetration in Dhaka’s politics.

Many scholars in Dhaka opine in a compliant voice that India brought Bangladesh in the political map of South Asia in the early seventies only to weaken Pakistan-the declared rival of India and to “milk” the new country Bangladesh.
We will take three points only to substantiate the Indian malicious design against Bangladesh which will clarify to the hilt as to why a new nation was brought into existence by bifurcating Islamic Republic Pakistan.

Let’s take up the first point.

The sitting foreign minister of Bangladesh A. K. Momen almost knelt down perhaps with tears in his eyes and “appealed” elephantine India aka the regional Policeman appointed by the US administration to provide stability to his country so that Sheikh Hasina Wajed captures the seat of the Prime Minister once again in the approaching election.

mom-300x174.png

Unable to brave the out pour of heavy criticism both from within and without, the Foreign Minister somehow managed to clarify that he meant no harm to Bangladesh and that the media twisted his version on India.
How the B’desh denizens took Minister Momen’s clarification is not known, however, what is known is that a section of the sharp intellectuals and former diplomats in Dhaka came heavily down on FM Momen for his somewhat “erratic” statements.

Sharp comments against A. K. Momen:

“The request that foreign minister AK Abdul Momen has made to India during a visit to that country to back the ruling Awami League so that it can stay on in power was a breach of diplomatic norms and there is no scope to regard the request as his personal opinion, former diplomats and an academic said reports the New Age, B’desh dated August 21, 2022.

A retired foreign secteray of B’desh Md. Touhid talking to New Age said, ‘He is the foreign minister of Bangladesh. He has no right to make such a statement in public while on an official visit. This is also a violation of diplomatic norms.”

Even sharp was the reaction of Ambassador M. Humayun Kabir who lambasted at the Foreign Minister saying that what the foreign minister said was not honorable for the people of an independent country.

pic1-300x268.jpg

Ambassador Kabir was B’desh Ambassador to Nepal, to recall.

When in Kathmandu, Ambassador Kabir had distinct and visible tilt for Delhi.

Appears he is a changed diplomat now.

Yet another sharp comment emanated from the Dhaka University international relations Professor Amena Mohsin who said that the statement of the foreign minister was quite unacceptable and shameful for the country’s people”.

To recall, A. K. Momen talking to the PRINT dated 27 March, 2021, he says, “B’desh has immense trust in the Indian Prime Minister. “We believe in him (Modi). We trust him. He is our confidante”.

This explains Momen’s unparalleled love for India and also explains the India bend.

Momen apparently spoke Hasina’s inner minds.

Strong rumors have it that Bangladesh and the Indian establishment have some “secret” plans to make the entire South Asian nation-Bangladesh an inalienable part of Greater India which is nothing but a sheer imagination of the Indian Hindutva hawks seated in the former seat of the Mughal emperors beginning Zahiruddin Babar and his descendants who ruled vast “expanse” of South Asia.

That time there was no India in the world map. India to be frank and modest, came into existence when the British India Company left South Asia and coined the landmass, they ruled for centuries as “Independent Republic of India in 1947. Yes, instead Greater Nepal existed for sure.

The second point for your perusal:

Madame Sheikh Hasina Wajed during her fresh Delhi sojourn beamingly admitted while meeting Priyanka Gandhi-Badra, Dr. Sangram Patil Tweets dated September 8, 2022, that “we had nowhere to go at that time. Our government didn’t allow us to return to our homeland.

bd-300x196.png
It was Indira Gandhi who gave us shelter. We took political asylum and stayed in Delhi for six years. She was truly like our mother-Sheikh Hasina Bangladesh Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh Prime Minister herself admits and by the way submits that she has had “intimate” ties with the inferiority complex ridden South Asian lady, Mrs. India Gandhi and let’s presume that PM Hasina during her shelter period may have encouraged Madame Gandhi to pounce upon Pakistan and split it into two halves.

It could also be guessed here that with the encouragement from exiled leader Sheikh Hasina, Madame Gandhi split Pakistan concluding that the emerging new nation in South Asia, later called as sovereign and independent Bangladesh shall ever remain compliant to India for obvious reasons.

Its inference could have been that Hasina may have guaranteed Madame Gandhi that B’desh shall ever be ready to pay the debt of India for the creation of Bangladesh.

However, India and Bangladesh friendship are also unequal.

India takes Bangladesh as inferior country as the sitting Indian Home Minister Amit Sah some two years ago gave a new name to the Bangladeshi nationals who make their way inside India for better livelihoods.

For Amit Sah, Bangladeshi illegal immigrants are no less than “termites”.

The use of the word termites for his nationals was not a big deal for the India’s men A. K. Momen or else he should have given a fitting response to Amit Sah’s demeaning accusations.

All that FM Momen said of Amit Sah’s filthy comments is: “We are not termites”, Momen told the Print ‘s Strategic Affairs editor Jyoti Malhotra in the exclusive interview, 27 March, 2021.

The perception that a lot of B’deshi are moving to India is not true”, added Momen.

His answers in the interview, one could feel, gives an impression that he is appealing India Please…. Don’t take us as Termites…Please…

Notably, Amit Sah has far has not taken back his words which means that for Indian Home Minister the neighboring B’deshi nationals are as good as termites who have swelled India ….

In fact, the starving Indian nationals from adjoining Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are no less than termites for Nepal who constitute almost half the Nepali population today and yet await Citizenship cards for the “termites” that have swelled Nepal.

A rough estimate has it that three million Indian beggars are in Nepal scattered all over the country. And eight million Indians have captured the vegetable and plumbing market and the “collecting waste material-KABADI” and are already in queue in becoming a genuine Nepali citizen.

Three million are barbers only from India.

The real Nepali people with Nepali blood, never ask for alms. In addition, Indians expert in Child-lifting have of late terrified Nepal as some ugly but starving Indians have been nabbed by Nepal police across the country in the recent days.
The stolen Child is either raised for prostitution or for kidney transplantation.

Now the last point:

Much to the displeasure of the nationals of Bangladesh, some brazen news has emanated from the Indian soil that is sure to irritate the Dhaka nationalists.

Look what has emanated from Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma from the Indian soil on September 7, 2022.

“India is intact. We are one nation. Congress disintegrated India in 1947. If Rahul Gandhi has any regret that his grandfather made a mistake, there is no use of Bharat Jodo Yatra in India. Try to integrate Pakistan, Bangladesh with India.

This objectionable comment has created ripples in the entire South Asian region.

Pakistan was the first to react sharply to the Assam CM’s horrible assertions. Which came while the Bangladesh Prime Minister was herself in Delhi. This is meaningful as no comments so far have emanated from Dhaka against the CM’s erratic assertions.

The Swedish Professor Ashok Swain says, “When B’desh Prime Minister is in India, the CM of Assam and a senior BJP leader calling for integrating B’desh and Pakistan with India”.

As if it were not enough, the India’s elevated Foreign Minister J Shankar said 08 September 2022 which, I am sure, will enrage nationalists in Dhaka.

He said, “India, Bangladesh “bond forged in blood” at an event that saw B’desh PM Hasina honoring the descendants of while Indian soldiers who fought in 1971 War.

The mention of “soldiers” in the earlier paragraph should be read as “Mukti Bahini” who were Indian Army men fighting Pakistani soldiers during the war.

Let’s weave the entire threads together and arrive at a conclusion.

Beginning Momen’s appeal to Indian PM for stability in his country and terming PM Modi as a “confidante” of Dhaka; then comes the ugly use of the world termite for B’deshi people; add to this how PM Hasina expressed her gratitude for her “meaning loaded shelter” in Delhi and her attachment to the Indian PM Mrs. Gandhi whom she calls as “a true mother” and finally the stoic silence acquired by Dhaka on Assam’s leaders’ desire to assimilate B’desh into the Indian Union.

Aren’t these points enough to suspect B’desh inner motive of adding strength to the call of Assam CM to gulp B’desh into the Indian Union? That’s all.
He looks to be some Nepali equivalent of zaid hamid .

.
Well my friend most of the times when it comes to India people here love to portray the pictures like it's enemy who will be only delivering the punch and it's India who will be always at receiving end......

India too will try to neutralize these so called missile attacks from elevated doklam with brahmos/storm shadows types and other systems..... even himars can be deployed from America.... For India too it's like destroying the source and destroy the supply lines..... Not to mention our army is based in Sikkim and Bhutan both near the tri junction..... India may not be a match for China but it's not easy for China too without getting a bloodied nose....

Bro, I want India and BD to be best buds.

Because it’s beneficial for both.

But your Hindu fanatics now run the government.

NRC and CAA have poisoned relationships.

I know “moderate Indians” play it down in a patronising way.

Unless both laws are repealed - relationships will be hostile.

Combination of repealing those two laws and Teesta water treaty will transform relationships.

I can see upto 70% of Bangladeshis turning pro India.

Given a choice average Bangladeshi would rather visit India than China.

It’s India’s choice.

We are not asking for any favours.

We just want civility from India!!!

I too do not hate BD and infact I when joined this forum was dreaming about our strategic alliance...

but back to the realities I think we don't have choice but to be a friend with each other.... India surrounds you from 3 sides and India too need you for her ne faster connectivity..... India and BD naturally and geographically cannot afford to offend each other....

.
Bro, I want India and BD to be best buds.
We never was best bud and it's never going to happen, mark my words.

However at best we can be friendly neighbor, but a friend? Not really! Before BAL ( from 2009) their was no friendly relationship with India. Although we were friendly neighbors!

I can see upto 70% of Bangladeshis turning pro India.
You seriously should contact an eye specialist then. In Congress era , people of Bangladesh were never pro India, although not anti India as well!

Now just anti India! Even your Hasina became anti India , the evidence is raw mole Pankaj debnath is expelled! He was expelled just after Hasina's return from India empty handed!

Open your eyes and land to ground. Otherwise sophisticated British education won't help you understanding the ground reality of Bangladesh!

Given a choice average Bangladeshi would rather visit India than China.
Still we visit India , and will be visiting always unless then block us. Visiting a country has nothing to do with friendship.

We just want civility from India!!!
Finally agree!

Load of gibberish.

The below topic, which @BananaRepublicUK would love, is more credible:

Is Sylhet willing to be a part of Greater Dhaka?

We will assimilate Dhakayas.

After a hundred years your grand children will be taller and lighter in skin colour.

Your women will learn to cook properly instead of cooking watery curries!!!!

You will never see two Sylhetis ever speak in “shuddo basha”.

Saifur Rahman, Muhit and Kibria never spoke with each other in “shuddo Bangla”.

Good plan except Dhakaiyas don't speak "shuddho bhasha" and in fact neither do I.

I dont know kibria but Saifur Rahman and family stayed with my family when I was a kid all the time, Muhit and co are my relatives.

Apart from in absolute family setting and then very occasionally they and their family speak in shuddho or in english.

Why you are trying to create division among us? We are Bangladeshi , not Dhakaiya or Sylheti!

But if you want to launch a protest for making sylhet as capital of Bangladesh, I have no problem! I will support this ;) ! As Dhaka is a dirty city with dangerous traffic jam!

If this helps decentralise Bangladesh, I am all for it. Make Sylhet city the capital.

This comment was kinda friendly banter!

However our capital really should be replaced. Either it will be near Dhaka, or anywhere in Bangladesh, be it sylhet , ctg or anywhere in Bangladesh!

And indeed we need decentralisation!
