As long as China has a veto in UNSC and Pakistan is in the UN. India's ambition to UNSC will only remain a dream. Without Veto UNSC is nothing, the only reason it remains powerful is that only 5 members have the veto and it should remain that way.

There are other more deserving candidates for UNSC like Pakistan and Brazil.
