Indian Helicopter Was Most Likely Also Shot Down by PAF

If this is true then what is holding ISPR back to claim it ?
You think ISPR would want to declare to the world that it shot down an Indian transport heli with 6 military personnel within the Indian side of the line of control?

It would escalate the situation considerably and would significantly damage Pakistan's percieved role as the more "responsible state" in this situation.

If this is true then what is holding ISPR back to claim it ?
Paf shot it By mistakenly identifying it as a jet killing multiple Indian officers since it's a cargo helicopter without proper declaration of war
This would be bad press internationally

Whatever happened, it was still heartbreaking to see the wife of one of the IAF personnel who died in the Heli crash holding her baby in her hand telling all keyboard warriors to go to border themselves if they want to go to war so badly.

This is the true cost of war :(

Indeed, it was quite heart wrenching, still is. :(

Indigenous BVRAAM is well into development. Pakistan tested one (unknown) BVRAAM back in Feb, 2018 through JF-17.

For PNS protection, there are different means to cover from Air to Air & Ground to Air.

Hypothetically, what if the AIM 120 was fired from a JF-17???

Speaking to a few army men my feeling is that the brass is happy that the message is delivered where it was supposed to be delivered, there is no need for us to show proof of what we hit because people who matter on the other side of the border already know their loses. Personally, i feel we missed a trick. In today’s environment of 5th Gen warfare it is also important to hit the morale of the general public. SU-30 has a god like status in the minds of common Indians and if we can prove that JF-17 (referred to as a 3rd Gen Chinese Junk by Indians) shot it down, it will deal a big blow to the blown up egos of Indians.
exactly......what if Indians had proofs of downing F16? they would have made Indian songs on it or title of every news bulletine....

Good to know that at least one guy knows the difference between India and Indian media

Ok fine, I missed your post mentioning India and not Indian media, but your media reported IAF claiming all their jets are accounted for. This changed only after Abhinandan's videos surfaced. So same thing, IAF means India which informed Indian Media.

Otherwise if you want to discredit everything reported by Indian media and only mention press conferences by Indian Govt/armed forces than they are still coming up with regular new updates and keeping us entertained with their contradictions.

In all honesty, their is nothing wrong with this practice as why would you want to admit you have lost a pilot if he safely returns and not get captured.

You know what was really the most interesting part about Indian Air Force's decades of preparedness, with $Billions spent on so much hardware?

When Modi rubbished the Indian Air Force with one sentence:

'If we had Rafale, results would have been different': PM Modi :partay:

PAF had nothing to do with Mi 17. Mi 17 had taken off without informing traffic controller. It was shot down by IAF.

And that is the truth.

Yes they even managed to give the pilot a weird name, call centre creation at it's best.

Seriously, most of them are active after 1am. Instead of working, they seem to have found a new hobby.

Kaam chor log.
