It takes 280 KG of raw uranium to get one Kg of weapon grade = 90% grade material suitable for one bomb.

One Kg fission in the "Little boy" yielded 16 KT in Hiroshima.

While the same one Kg of Plutonium = Fat man gave a yield of 21 KT over Nagasaki.

PU has more punch than U = PU weapons of same mass give off more yield than U.

That's why India went for PU instead.

For a country like India gaining tech from Pakistan is dangerous and India will never do that.

See, AQ Khan indulged in nuclear proliferation with the tacit approval of the Pak Establishment. Never mind which country they sold nuclear secrets to, as long as the moolah came flowing in - and there was lots of it.

So the aim was to sell and get millions to line the pockets of all those involved, never mind the countries the secrets were sold to. It was all about the color of money!
