Yes I can answer you. He didn't leave army and he didn't ask for asylum either and that's why he would be sent back to Pakistan soon.

Throughout his life he was told to fight against India and now the situation is so bad that he wants to leave Pakistan and come to the same country which he was supposed to fight!

Seeking asylum thing is the last thing i can digest. If he is so unhappy then he cud hv left the force and try something else to earn. He might be trained to tell as such, if get caught. The last thing that anyone would do is cross the LoC in military colors and then ask for asylum!If he really had to do it he could have easily done that in civilian clothes or atleast could have shed his uniform before entering. . . . since he did not do either it.s pretty apparent that he must have lost his way and after being arrested he just wanted to arouse the sympathy of the Indian authorities by putting forward an account of his misery and sufferings!
