Most of south Asia suffers from heavy corruption.Although, corruption is a serious issue lets share some interesting corruption stories from our countries on a light note. A few from india
1. Telgi stamp paper fraud - some guy managed to get old discarded printing press from the government mint. Printed thousands of fake stamp papers...was caught after a few years, died of aids in jail

2. 2g scam - 2g spectrum was sold substantially below market price. The minister resigned

3. Coal scam - preferential allotment of coal mines to private players below market rate

There's hundreds more but m lazy to type...please add.

You just can't compare the scale of massive corruption in India with that of Pakistan. The amount of resources and Money looted from Indian Public is immense . It's like comparing Water melon to Lemon .

Pakistan can compare its self rightly with country of its own size. It's just not comparable to India. One corruption is India = National Budget of Pakistan

National ID cards / Passports, Loan Forgiveness Plans ( Borrow money but don't have to payback, just pay kickback to Politician Scum ). Body Parts for Sale. You name it, it is up for Sale.

SWALLOWING A BRIBE – EATING MONEY - A CORRUPTION STORY
This morning there was a hilarious story in the newspapers about corruption.
A Revenue Official in a village in Pune District swallowed two 1000 Rupee currency notes at his office when he was caught red handed accepting a bribe by officials of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB). Despite his eating up the currency notes and swallowing the “evidence” the ACB sleuths nabbed him, took him to a local hospital where an endoscopy was done on him and the endoscopy report revealed that there are two currency notes in his stomach. Later an X-Ray showed that the two notes had moved down inside his intestines.
Since they needed the two currency notes as evidence the cops gave the corrupt official some strong laxatives and are patiently waiting for the two thousand rupee notes to come out from his other end.
It seems that Anna Hazare’s Anti Corruption Crusade has had no effect on the lower bureaucracy who continue to literally eat money (Paise Khana...)
This story highlights the need to bring lower bureaucracy under the purview of the Lokpal Act or some strict Anti-Corruption Law.

Well i am just stating the fact the monetarily India is far far ahead.

But Yes you can say that your entire system is corrupt from top to bottom. We are just behind you but with awakening in India things are changing and i believe with rapid economic development we will reduce rampant corruption.
